Bandung, JURNAL TIPIKOR– Pengelolaan TPA Sarimukti yang dianggap sebagian Aktivis, Pemerhati Lingkungan bahkan Akademisi salah dalam pengelolaannya yang dikhawatirkan terjadi dampak negDiabaikanatif terhadap ekosistem termasuk manusia kedepannya.
Persoalan ini, berdasarkan informasi yang diterima Tim Jurnal Tipikor kalau Tim Pemerhati lingkungan sudah mencoba mengkonfirmasi ke Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Provinsi Jawa Barat agar segera dilakukan langkah preventif guna mengatasi termasuk meminimalisir resiko kedepannya, hal tersebut disampaikan Sapto ke Jurnal Tipikor, Jumat (28/8/2023).
Akan tetapi, upaya tersebut seolah-olah diabaikannya, oleh karenanya Tim Masyarakat Peduli TPA Sarimukti melayangkan surat terbuka untuk Presiden Joko Widodo.
Surat tersebut ditandatangani oleh anggota tim yang terdiri dari Asep Saefulloh, Rohadjie Trie, dan Wahyu Dharmawan.

Dalam surat yang diterima Jurnal Tipikor, tim menyimpulkan sejumlah hal.
Di antaranya:
1. Pengelola TPAS tidak pahami jika Air Lindi adalah Bahan Beracun Berbahaya (B3).
2. Pengelola TPAS tidak anggap masalah jika ada B3 dari TPAS yang masuk Badan Air, tanpa melalui proses pengolahan.
3. Pengelola TPAS tidak anggap masalah jika air lindi yang masuk ke IPAL TPAS, belum sukses terproses sesuai tuntutan regulasi untuk standar kualitas kelayakan dapat dibuang ke Badan Air. Salah satu kriteria Air lindi hasil olahan mestinya sudah bening sebelum dibuang ke Badan Air.
