Dansat Brimob Polda Banten Kombes Pol Dede Rojudin mengatakan tujuan dari kegiatan sambang duka tersebut. “sambang duka ini merupakan salah satu kegiatan satbrimob polda banten yang bertujuan agar kehadiran polisi di masyarakat lebih dirasakan, tidak hanya pada saat masyarakat merasa gembira, tetapi saat mengalami musibah seperti ini, kita juga harus hadir,” ujar Dede.
Selanjutnya Dede mengucapkan bela sungkawa kepada serta mendoakan almarhum. “kami mengucapkan bela sungkawa serta mendoakan semoga arwah almarhum bisa menyatu dengan yang Maha Suci,” katanya.

Dede juga berharap Brimob Polda Banten selalu bersinergi dengan aparat keamanan untuk mewujudkan kamtibmas yang kondusif. “Kami berharap Brimob Polda Banten selalu bisa bersinergi dengan aparat kramanan untuk mewujudkan kamtibmas yang kondusif dan segala pelaksanaan kegiatan yang berkaitan dengan prosesi adat agar senantiasa mematuhi Protokol Kesehatan,” ujar Dede.
Terakhir Dede menjelaskan bahwa, sambang duka merupakan bagian dari program Polri dalam pendekatan kepada masyarakat sekaligus menciptakan sinergitas kemitraan untuk mewujudkan kamtibmas yang kondusif. “kegiatan ini merupakan program Polri dalam pendekatan kepada masyarakat sekaligis menciptakan sinergitas kemitraan untuk mewujudkan kamtibmas yang kondusif,” tutup Dede.
