Bengkulu Selatan, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Dalam upaya meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan dan mitigasi terhadap potensi bencana alam, Rumah Tahanan Negara (Rutan) Kelas IIB Manna menjalin koordinasi strategis dengan Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Kabupaten Bengkulu Selatan.
Pertemuan ini merupakan langkah proaktif Rutan Manna untuk memastikan keselamatan seluruh petugas dan Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan (WBP) dalam menghadapi situasi darurat.
Kepala Rutan Manna, M Nur Nawawi Mahbub, didampingi oleh Kasubsi Pengelolaan Rutan Manna/Hastomo Arbi, mengunjungi kantor BPBD Bengkulu Selatan dan disambut langsung oleh Kepala Pelaksana BPBD, Gunawan Plt.

Koordinasi ini difokuskan pada beberapa aspek kunci:
- Penyusunan Rencana Kontingensi: Mendiskusikan dan menyusun langkah-langkah darurat yang terperinci, termasuk penentuan titik kumpul dan jalur evakuasi yang aman di lingkungan Rutan.
- Peningkatan Kapasitas SDM: Rencana pelaksanaan sosialisasi dan simulasi penanggulangan bencana bagi petugas Rutan dan perwakilan WBP, mencakup penanganan gempa bumi, banjir, dan kebakaran.
- Dukungan Sarana dan Prasarana: Peninjauan kebutuhan logistik dan peralatan dasar penanggulangan bencana di Rutan Manna.
M Nur Nawawi Mahbub menyampaikan, “Kolaborasi dengan BPBD adalah hal yang esensial, terutama mengingat Bengkulu memiliki tingkat kerawanan bencana yang cukup tinggi. Kami berkomitmen menjadikan Rutan Manna sebagai lingkungan yang aman dan tanggap bencana.
Kesiapsiagaan adalah kunci untuk meminimalkan risiko, dan kami ingin setiap petugas serta WBP tahu persis apa yang harus dilakukan saat keadaan darurat.”

Sinergi antara Rutan Manna dan BPBD Bengkulu Selatan ini diharapkan dapat menciptakan budaya sadar bencana yang kuat, serta menjamin respons yang cepat dan terkoordinasi jika terjadi situasi darurat.
Rutan Manna berencana akan segera menindaklanjuti pertemuan ini dengan pelaksanaan simulasi evakuasi dalam waktu dekat.
