Dilansir dari Reuters pada Senin (29/5), hasil resmi menunjukkan Erdogan menang dengan perolehan 52,1 persen suara, sedangkan Kilicdaroglu memperoleh 47,9 persen suara.
Pemilu ini telah dilihat sebagai salah satu yang paling penting bagi Turki. Pihak oposisi percaya bahwa mereka memiliki peluang besar untuk menggulingkan Erdogan dan membalikkan kebijakan-kebijakannya setelah popularitasnya dilanda krisis biaya hidup.
