Bandung, JURNAL TIPIKOR — Daftar Pemilih Sementara (DPS) Kota Bandung pada Pemilu dan Pilkada 2024 mengalami peningkatan. Hal itu disampaikan Ketua KPU Kota Bandung Suharti dalam Bandung Menjawab, Kamis 25 Mei 2023.
Data tersebut merupakan Daftar Pemilih Sementara Hasil Perbaikan (DPS HP). Pada Pemilu 2019 lalu, daftar pemilih di Kota Bandung berkisar di angka 1.743.000. Jumlah tersebut kini meningkat menjadi sekitar 1.879.000.
“Saat ini kami sedang menjalankan tahapan pemutakhiran pemilih. Seperti diketahui, ada peningkatan DPS HP dibandingkan dengan Pemilu 2019,” ujar Suharti.

Ia juga mengimbau kepada masyarakat Kota Bandung agar aktif dan responsif melaporkan jika ada individu atau anggota keluarga yang belum terdaftar menjadi DPS.
Caranya pun mudah, anda tinggal mengecek di situs cekdptonline.kpu.go.id. Lalu masukkan Nomor Induk Kependudukan (NIK) atau nomor paspor.
“Ketika nama kita muncul, berarti kita sudah aman, sudah terdata sebagai pemilih. Tetapi apabila nama kita belum ada, silakan berikan tanggapan di link tersebut, atau berikan tanggapan pada petugas kami di PPS (Kelurahan), PPK (Kecamatan) atau melalui kami di KPU Kota Bandung,” tuturnya.
Disdik Kota Bandung Buka Jalur Afirmasi RMP pada PPDB 2023
Selain itu, Suharti juga menyampaikan saat ini sudah ada 7 kawasan yang diusulkan menjadi Tempat Pemungutan Suara (TPS) Khusus.
Untuk diketahui TPS Khusus adalah tempat pemungutan suara yang diperlukan regulasi khusus, seperti di lembaga pemasyarakatan (lapas), rumah tahanan (rutan), atau rumah sakit, sehingga masyarakat tetap bisa mendapatkan hak pilihnya pada Pemilu dan Pilkada 2024 mendatang.
“Ada 7 lokasi khusus yang sudah diusulkan. Antara lain: Kampus Maranatha, Politeknik Pariwisata NHI Bandung, Politeknik Manufaktur, Rutan dan Lapas Kota Bandung, serta Rumah Sakit Kota Bandung. Harapannya dengan ada TPS khusus ini, warga luar Kota Bandung yang tinggal di Bandung mendapatkan haknya untuk memilih,” ucap Suharti.
Sebagai pengingat, Kota Bandung mencatatkan angka partisipasi pemilih hingga 87 persen pada Pemilu 2019. Pada penyelenggaraan Pemilu dan Pilkada 2024, Pemkot Bandung menargetkan angka partisipasi pemilih naik hingga 90 persen.
