WNI Kelahiran Jambi dalam Proses hukum di Malaysia, Kapolda Jambi Gerak Cepat Telusuri Kasusnya
JAMBI, JURNAL TIPIKOR– Terkait adanya pemberitaan Warga Negara Indonesia (WNI) kelahiran Jambi yang sedang diproses hukum di Negara Malaysia, pihak Kepolisian Daerah Jambi segera turun tangan menelusuri kebenaran terkait kasus yg ramai dibicarakan masyarakat tersebut.
Kapolda Jambi Irjen Pol. Rusdi Hartono melalui Kabid Humas Polda Jambi Kombes Pol. Mulia Prianto angkat bicara menjelaskan terkait berita yang beredar tersebut pada Rabu, (24/05/2023)
” Ya benar adanya WNI kelahiran Jambi yang saat ini sedang menjalani proses hukum di negara Malaysia, dari hasil koordinasi dengan pihak Imigrasi Jambi diperoleh informasi bahwa jumlah tahanan WNI seluruhnya ada 30 orang, 25 laki-laki dan 5 perempuan, berdasarkan data yang ada 16 orang laki-laki diantaranya merupakan kelahiran Jambi. ” Ujar Kabid Humas.

Dijelaskan oleh Kabid Humas bahwa warga negara Indonesia yang sedang menjalani proses hukum tersebut diduga terlibat dalam kegiatan judi online. Namun oleh pihak Atase Kepolisian KBRI di Kuala Lumpur sedang berusaha bernegosiasi dengan PDRM (Polisi Diraja Malaysia) agar terhadap mereka tersebut hanya dikenakan sebagai saksi dikarenakan ada dugaan mereka telah menjadi korban dari Tindak Pidana Perdagangan Orang (TPPO).
” Saat ini hal yang telah dilakukan Polda Jambi yaitu Ditreskrimsus Polda Jambi telah memonitor informasi ini dan telah berkoordinasi dengan Divhubinter Mabes Polri dan Atase Kepolisian KBRI di Kuala Lumpur untuk menyelidiki terkait adanya dugaan aktifitas perdagangan orang dalam kejadian ini, dan segera mengupayakan 16 orang WNI kelahiran Jambi tersebut bisa dideportasi atau dikembalikan ke Jambi. ” Ungkap Kombes Pol. Lebih lanjut dijelaskan oleh Kabid Humas Polda Jambi berdasarkan data dan pemeriksaan pasport yang digunakan oleh 16 warga kelahiran Jambi tersebut merupakan pasport terbitan dari Jakarta Timur bukan dari Kanwil Kemenkumham Jambi.
” Pihak Kepolisian Daerah Jambi tentunya akan berusaha semaksimal mungkin agar WNI kelahiran Jambi tersebut bisa segera kembali ke Jambi dan Polda Jambi juga turut meminta agar pihak keluarga tetap tenang, karena Negara telah hadir untuk membantu dan memfasilitasi permasalahan ini. ” Jelas Kabid Humas
Identitas 16 orang warga kelahiran Jambi tersebut sudah diketahui oleh Dit Reskrimsus Polda Jambi, selanjutnya Dit Reskrimsus Polda Jambi akan terus mempelajari dan melakukan pendalaman terhadap kasus tersebut.
