Wajo, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Aksi pencurian dengan modus pemberatan kembali terjadi di wilayah Jalan Dahlia, Sengkang, Kabupaten Wajo. Kali ini, rumah milik warga berinisial AGS menjadi sasaran pencuri saat dalam keadaan kosong ditinggal mudik ke kampung halaman untuk merayakan Idul Adha 1446 H. Jumat, (06/06/25).
Peristiwa tersebut diduga terjadi pada waktu Subuh, saat sebagian besar warga sekitar tengah melaksanakan sholat di masjid.
Pelaku memanfaatkan situasi lingkungan yang sepi dan kondisi rumah yang tidak berpenghuni untuk melancarkan aksinya.
Warga setempat mengaku resah, karena kejadian serupa sudah beberapa kali terjadi di kawasan Jalan Dahlia.
Mereka berharap pihak kepolisian, khususnya Polsek Tempe, segera mengusut tuntas kasus ini dan meningkatkan patroli keamanan di lingkungan tersebut.
“Kami berharap polisi segera menangkap pelakunya. Kejadian seperti ini sudah sering, dan warga mulai merasa tidak aman,” ujar salah satu warga.
Berdasarkan informasi yang diterima Jurnal Tipikor, sebanyak 2 unit rumah di bobol pencurian di lokasi tersebut. Pencuri melancarkan aksinya dengan cara membobol pintu depan.
