Jakarta, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Presiden RI Prabowo Subianto bersama empat pemimpin negara Perhimpunan Bangsa-Bangsa Asia Tenggara (ASEAN) mengatur strategi untuk menghadapi kebijakan tarif timbal balik Amerika Serikat. yang ditetapkan oleh Presiden AS Donald Trump.
Tim Media Presiden Prabowo Subianto dalam siaran resminya di Jakarta, Sabtu, menjelaskan keempat pemimpin itu berdiskusi melalui sambungan telepon.
“Presiden Prabowo melakukan telewicara dan bertukar pandangan dengan Perdana Menteri (PM) Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim, Raja Brunei Darussalam Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, Presiden Filipina Ferdinand Marcos Jr, dan Perdana Menteri Singapura Lawrence Wong,” demikian siaran resmi Tim Media Presiden Prabowo.

Dalam kesempatan terpisah, PM Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim mengungkap isi pembicaraan tersebut dalam akun sosial media pribadinya. PM Anwar menyebut dirinya bersama Presiden Prabowo, Presiden Marcos, dan PM Wong berbagi pandangan masing-masing terkait kebijakan tarif Trump, dan mengoordinasikan respons bersama terhadap kebijakan tersebut.
“Hari ini saya berkesempatan melakukan diskusi melalui telepon dengan para pemimpin negara-negara ASEAN, termasuk Indonesia, Filipina, Brunei Darussalam, dan Singapura untuk memperoleh pandangan dan mengoordinasikan tanggapan bersama mengenai masalah tarif timbal balik oleh Amerika Serikat,” kata PM Anwar sebagaimana dikutip dari akun media sosial resminya di Jakarta, Sabtu.
PM Anwar menyebut menteri ekonomi dari negara-negara ASEAN bakal bertemu minggu depan untuk membahas respons bersama terhadap kebijakan tarif Trump tersebut.
“Insyaallah, pertemuan menteri ekonomi ASEAN minggu depan akan terus membahas masalah ini, dan mencari solusi terbaik bagi seluruh negara anggota,” kata PM Anwar.

Presiden AS Donald Trump pada 2 April 2025 mengumumkan kebijakan tarif resiprokal kepada sejumlah negara termasuk Indonesia, yang efektif 3 hari setelah diumumkan.
Kebijakan Trump itu bakal diterapkan secara bertahap, yaitu mulai dari pengenaan tarif umum 10 persen untuk seluruh negara terhitung sejak tanggal 5 April 2025, kemudian tarif khusus untuk sejumlah negara termasuk Indonesia mulai berlaku pada 9 April 2025 pukul 00.01 EDT (11.01 WIB).
Dari kebijakan baru itu, Indonesia terkena tarif resiprokal 32 persen, sementara Filipina 17 persen, Singapura 10 persen, Malaysia 24 persen, Kamboja 49 persen, Thailand 36 persen, dan Vietnam 46 persen.(*)
