Sukabumi, JURNAL TIPIKOR,-Wakil Bupati Sukabuni H.Iyos Somantri menghadiri acara Penanaman Jagung Serentak 1 Juta Hektar Se-Indonesia yang berlokasi di Area Perkebunan PT. Surya Nusa Nadicipta, Kp. Lebak Selokan Desa Sukamulya Kec. Caringin, Kabupaten Sukabumi, Selasa (21/01/2025).
Program penanaman jagung serentak tersebut merupakan upaya mendukung Swasembada pangan tahun 2025. Program ini wujud nyata dari Instruksi Presiden H. Prabowo Subianto.
Hadir Pada acara tersebut Ketua DPRD, Kasdim 0622, Kejaksaan, Kadis Ketahanan Pangan, Kadis Perdagangan daan Perindustrian (Dagin), Kadis Pertanian, Kadis Perikanan, Kadis Peternakan dan Undangan lainnya.
Diketahui, dilahan PT. Surya Nusa Nadicipta yang berlokasi di wilayah Kecamatan Caringin itu ditanami benih Jagung dilahan seluas 70 Hektare yang bertujuan untuk memperkuat Ketahanan Pangan khususnya di Kabupaten Sukabumi.

Ketua Gugus Tugas Polri Irwasum Polri Komjen Dedy Prasetyo menyampaikan bahwa Polri telah ditunjuk sebagai koordinator program ketahanan pangan nasional dengan fokus pada penanaman jagung.
“Berdasarkan data Badan Pusat Statistik, terjadi peningkatan impor jagung. Namun, Indonesia sangat mungkin mencapai swasembada jagung dengan komitmen bersama,”jelasnya.
Program ketahanan pangan Polri mencakup empat aspek utama, yakni pekarangan pangan bergizi, pemanfaatan lahan produktif, pengawalan distribusi, dan rekrutmen Bakomsus Ketahanan Pangan.

Wakil Bupati H. Iyos menyampaikan Apresiasi atas penanaman jagung 1 Juta Hektare se-Indonesia dalam memperkuat ketahanan pangan untuk kesejahteraan rakyat.
“Dari luas lahan 70 Hektare ini, mudah-mudahan akan berkembang terus dan dalam triwulan 1, 2 dan 3 kedepan. Melalui Kolaborasi dengan stakeholder, insyaAllah akan bisa menghasilkan panen jagung dengan baik”,ungkapnya.
