Lima, Peru, JURNAL TIPIKOR — Usai menghadiri serangkaian acara KTT Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) 2024, Presiden RI Prabowo Subianto menyatakan pentingnya perdagangan bebas yang adil dan teratur, Sabtu, (16/11) sore waktu setempat.
Menurut Prabowo KTT APEC 2024 ini tidak hanya mengumpulkan jaringan pemimpin-pemimpin di Pasifik tetapi juga menekankan perdagangan bebas yang adil.
“Saya kira, kesempatan yang baik, APEC ya kita meluruskan suatu jaringan, network antara pemimpin-pemimpin di Pasifik, kita bahas banyak masalah, bagaimana kita menjaga perdagangan yang baik, yang terbuka tapi adil,” kata Prabowo.
Posisi Indonesia di antara negara-negara Pasifik lainnya menurut Prabowo menginginkan adanya perdagangan yang bebas namun adil.
“Kita ingin yang teratur dan bebas tapi adil,” lanjutnya.
Seperti diketahui, Prabowo tengah berada di negara Lima, Peru guna menghadiri serangkaian acara KTT APEC 2024 sejak kamis, 14 november hingga 16 november 2024.
Hari pertama dimulai dengan santap pagi bersama dengan PM Australia Anthony Albanese, pertemuan bilateral sekaligus pemberian penghargaan Grand Collar de la Orden El Sol del Peru atau The Order of The Sun of The Peru dari Presiden Peru Dian Boluarte, dan menjadi Keynote Speaker dalam APEC CEO Summit 2024.

Di hari kedua, Prabowo melakukan pertemuan bilateral dengan PM Kanada Justin Trudeau dan juga PM Selandia Baru Christoper Luxon serta bertemu dengan Presiden Vietnam Luong Cuong dilanjutkan dengan Gala Dinner bersama para pemimpin dunia yang hadir di APEC 2024.
Adapun, setelah dari Peru, Prabowo dijadwalkan melanjutkan lawatan perjalanan dinasnya untuk menghadiri KTT G20 di Brasil.(*)
