Bandung, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Direktorat Reserse Kriminal Khusus (Ditreskrimsus) Polda Jawa Barat mengungkap sindikat penipuan online bermodus penjualan sepeda motor dengan menelan puluhan korban hingga rugi ratusan juta rupiah.
Kabid Humas Polda Jawa Barat Kombes Pol Jules Abraham Abast mengatakan, sindikat penipu itu di antaranya tiga tersangka mengunggah foto sepeda motor jenis NMAX milik orang lain dari aplikasi OLX untuk selanjutnya dijual melalui akun Facebook dengan harga lebih murah.
“Ketika ada yang berminat, tersangka mengarahkan korban untuk menemui pemilik asli kendaraan dengan cara memanipulasi korban lalu mengatakan pemilik kendaraan itu adik iparnya,” kata Jules di Bandung, Kamis (18/7/2024).

Jules mengungkapkan, para tersangka dengan inisal AM, FD dan CTI mengarahkan korban untuk menransfer sejumlah uang ke rekening miliknya.
Tidak hanya itu, tersangka juga berkomunikasi dengan pemilik asli kendaraan dan menyebut bahwa terdapat temannya yang hendak membeli motor sekaligus mengecek kendaraannya.
“Apabila korban sudah selesai melakukan pengecekan, tersangka mengatakan ke pemilik asli jika pembayarannya akan dilakukan langsung oleh tersangka melalui rekening dengan alasan temannya akan melakukan pembayaran secara kredit kepada tersangka,” kata dia.

Lebih lanjut, setelah merasa tertipu, ia menyebut korban langsung melapor ke Polda Jawa Barat dan pihaknya lalu melakukan penyelidikan hingga menangkap ketiga pelaku tersebut di Balikpapan.
“Jumlah keuntungan yang didapatkan oleh tersangka dari hasil tindak pidana tersebut kurang lebih sekitar 200 juta rupiah. Dengan korban kurang lebih sebanyak 20 orang, rata-rata penjualan per unitnya mulai dari Rp15 juta sampai dengan Rp20 juta,” kata Jules.
Dia mengatakan, untuk pelaku AM dan FD memiliki peran mencari foto sepeda motor untuk diiklankan. Sedangkan CTI berperan untuk menampung uang hasil kejahatan tersebut.
Atas perbuatannya, ketiga tersangka dijerat Pasal 45A ayat 1 Jo Pasal 28 ayat 1 Undang-Undang RI Nomor 11 Tahun 2024 tentang kedua atas Undang-Undang Nomor 11 tahun 2008 tentang informasi dan transaksi elektronik, dengan ancaman paling lama enam tahun penjara.(*)
