Banten, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo menegaskan terus berkomitmen untuk memperkuat pemberantasan praktik korupsi di Indonesia.
Hal itu ditegaskan Kapolri terkait dengan menanggapi isu pencopotan Brigjen Endar Priantoro sebagai Direktur Penyelidikan di Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK).
“Tentunya, Polri sampai sekarang masih berkomitmen terus mendorong penguatan terhadap KPK, khususnya dalam tugas pemberantasan korupsi,” kata Sigit kepada wartawan di Tangerang, Banten, Rabu, 5 April 2023.

Lebih dalam, Sigit memastikan, Polri menghormati dan taat azas terhadap seluruh aturan yang berlaku terkait personel-personel Kepolisian yang melakukan penugasan di luar struktur kementerian dan lembaga termasuk KPK.
Terkait Brigjen Endar, Sigit mengungkapkan, sebelum penugasan di KPK, Endar telah melakukan proses Open Bidding yang cukup berat dan ketat oleh pansel KPK.
“Brigjen Endar tentunya ditempatkan di KPK saat itu telah melalui proses Open Bidding oleh Pansel KPK yang cukup berat, yang tentunya bersaing dengan beberapa calon lain dan kemudian terpilih,” ujar Sigit.
Disisi lain, Sigit menyatakan bahwa, Polri telah menerbitkan surat perpanjangan penugasan Brigjen Endar di KPK. Oleh karenanya, Sigit pun menghormati langkah-langkah yang diambil Brigjen Endar terkait dengan pencopotannya sebagai Direktur Penyelidikan KPK.
“Tentunya kalau saat ini Brigjen Endar kemudian melakukan langkah-langkah karena memang beberapa waktu lalu, yang bersangkutan masih di perpanjang dan saat ini beliau ambil langkah itu. Kami lihat itu adalah urusan internal Brigjen Endar sebagai anggota KPK dengan KPK,” ucap Sigit.
“Sehingga tentunya bisa diselesaikan dengan mekanisme-mekanisme internal yang ada disana. Apakah itu dari Inspektorat apakah itu dari Dewas,” tutur Sigit.

Yang pasti, Sigit menekankan bahwa, Polri akan terus berkomitmen untuk memperkuat KPK sekaligus mendukung pemberantasan korupsi di Indonesia.
“Yang jelas Polri berkomitmen untuk terus memperkuat KPK. Kalau dua orang pada posisi strategis di KPK secara bersamaan kita tarik, tentunya justru melemahkan KPK,” tutup Sigit.
