Acara ini digelar di Gedung Olahraga Mandiri Lompoe kota Parepare, Jumat (05/07/2024).

M.Tr.(Han) .,M.I.Pol.(Danbrigif 11/BS)., H.Arif Hauddin (Wakil Sekertaris 3 IPSI Prov.Sulsel)., H.M.Iskandar Nusu ,S.STP,M.Si(Ketua Umum IPSI Kota Parepare., Kompol Ramli,S.Sos, M,Si., M.M (Danyon B Pelopor Satbrimob Polda Sulsel)., Kapten Inf.Sudirman (Danramil 1405-03/Bacukiki)., Iptu Nurdin SE (Kasub Sektor Bacukiki)., Restu Permadi SH.MH(Hakim Pengadilan Negeri Kota Parepare)., Sahrul SH.(Jaksa ahli Muda bid.Intejen Kejaksaan)., Abd.Mannan SPd.MPd(Sekertaris IPSI Kota Parepare)., Romy Ardiansyah,S,Pd(Ketua Pelaksana Kejuaraan Pencak silat) dan Para peserta.

Saat ditemui, Komandan Batalyon B Pelopor Satbrimob Polda Sulsel Kompol Ramli mengatakan, sangat mengapresiasi dan dukungannya terhadap kegiatan ini.
“Kejuaraan ini bukan hanya ajang untuk meraih prestasi, tetapi juga untuk mempererat tali silaturahmi antar pesilat dan masyarakat. Kami dari Batalyon B Pelopor Satbrimob Polda Sulsel sangat mendukung kegiatan positif seperti ini,” ujar Kompol Ramli.
Parepare Championship 2 diharapkan dapat menjadi wadah bagi generasi muda untuk mengembangkan bakat dan kemampuan mereka dalam bidang pencak silat, serta mempromosikan olahraga tradisional Indonesia kepada masyarakat luas. Kejuaraan ini juga diharapkan dapat melahirkan atlet-atlet berprestasi yang mampu bersaing di tingkat nasional dan internasional.
Acara pembukaan dihadiri oleh sejumlah tokoh penting, termasuk para pelatih, wasit, serta pejabat daerah. Para peserta terlihat sangat antusias mengikuti rangkaian acara, mulai dari upacara pembukaan hingga pertandingan pertama yang langsung memanas dengan semangat sportivitas tinggi.
