JAKARTA, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) kembali melakukan gebrakan dalam upaya pemberantasan korupsi di tanah air. Tim Satuan Tugas KPK menggelar Operasi Tangkap Tangan (OTT) di wilayah Kabupaten Bekasi, Jawa Barat, pada Kamis (18/12) malam.
Dalam operasi senyap tersebut, penyidik lembaga antirasuah berhasil mengamankan sedikitnya 10 orang. Nama yang paling mencolok di antaranya adalah Bupati Bekasi, Ade Kuswara Kunang.
Juru Bicara KPK, Budi Prasetyo, mengonfirmasi kebenaran penangkapan tersebut saat ditemui di Gedung Merah Putih KPK, Jakarta, Jumat (19/12) pagi.
“Benar, tim KPK telah melakukan serangkaian tangkap tangan di Kabupaten Bekasi sejak kemarin hingga dini hari tadi. Sebanyak 10 orang kami amankan, termasuk unsur penyelenggara negara, yakni Bupati Bekasi,” ujar Budi kepada awak media.

Barang Bukti Uang Tunai Diamankan
Selain mengamankan para terperiksa, tim penyidik juga menyita sejumlah uang tunai dalam mata uang rupiah dan valuta asing, serta dokumen penting yang diduga kuat berkaitan dengan tindak pidana korupsi yang sedang berlangsung. Meski demikian, KPK belum merinci secara detail total nilai uang yang disita.
Dugaan sementara, penangkapan ini berkaitan dengan suap proyek infrastruktur atau perizinan di lingkungan Pemerintah Kabupaten Bekasi.
Status Hukum Ditentukan dalam 24 Jam
Saat ini, Bupati Ade Kuswara Kunang beserta sembilan orang lainnya telah dibawa ke Gedung Merah Putih KPK untuk menjalani pemeriksaan intensif.
Sesuai dengan Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Acara Pidana (KUHAP), KPK memiliki waktu 1×24 jam untuk menentukan status hukum para pihak yang diamankan.
“Kami masih melakukan pemeriksaan mendalam. Perkembangan lebih lanjut mengenai konstruksi perkara dan siapa saja yang akan ditetapkan sebagai tersangka akan kami sampaikan melalui konferensi pers resmi sore nanti,” tambah Budi Prasetyo.
Penangkapan ini menambah panjang daftar kepala daerah di Bekasi yang terjerat kasus hukum, sekaligus menjadi peringatan keras bagi para pejabat publik lainnya untuk menjauhi praktik rasuah.(*)
