Kaur, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Hujan dengan intensitas tinggi disertai dan angin kencang yang melanda Kaur sejak Selasa 16 Desember malam hingga Rabu 17 Desember 2025, mengakibatkan bencana alam longsor dan pohon tumbang di Desa Tuguk Kecamatan Luas Kabupaten Kaur.
Akibatnya, akses jalan menuju desa tersebut sempat terputus tertimbun oleh material longsor dan juga pohon yang cukup besar.
Beruntung, anggota Polres Kaur bersama Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) dan masyarakat langsung gontong royong membersihkan material longsor dan pohon tumbang sehingga jalan bisa dilewati kembali.
“Longsor di Desa Tuguk sudah kita tangani, Alhamdulillah sekarang akses jalan yang sempat terputus sudah bisa dilewati,” kata Kepala BPBD Kabupaten Kaur Muljunias, ST., Rabu 17 Desember 2025.

Ia mengungkapkan, longsor yang cukup dahsyat tersebut terjadi sekitar pukul 02.00 WIB saat hujan deras menguyur wilayah Kabupaten Kaur dan menyebabkan tebing setinggi empat meter longsor dan membawa bebatuan serta pohon berukuran besar tumbang hingga menutup ruas jalan penghubung Kecamatan Luas dan Muara Sahung.
Tidak ada korban jiwa dalam peristiwa tersebut, namun akses jalan sempat tertutup total.
Lalu petugas gabungan langsung bergerak mengevakuasi material longsor berupa tanah, batu, dan pohon yang menimpa badan jalan.
“Sekarang cuaca sedang buruk, maka dari itu kami imbau kepada seluruh masyarakat Kaur agar lebih waspada.
Serta mengurangi kegiatan di luar rumah apabila cuaca sedang tidak bersahabat,” imbaunya.
Sementara itu, Kapolres Kaur AKBP Yuriko Fernanda, SH, S.IK, MH., melalui Wakapolres, Kompol. Yosril Radiansyah, SH., menyampaikan, pihaknya bersama Babinsa, serta unsur terkait lainnya turut terjun ke lapangan untuk bahu-membahu melakukan pembersihan material tanah longsor dan pemotongan batang pohon yang melintang di jalan.
Selain melakukan evakuasi material, petugas di lapangan juga disiagakan untuk mengatur arus lalu lintas.
Kini akses jalan di Desa Tuguk telah kembali normal dan sudah dapat dilalui kembali oleh berbagai jenis kendaraan dengan aman.
Dalam kejadian ini tidak ada korban jiwa dalam peristiwa ini.
Tapi kita selalu mengimbau masyarakat untuk selalu waspada terhadap potensi bencana alam mengingat cuaca ekstrem dan curah hujan tinggi yang masih melanda wilayah Kabupaten Kaur,” sampainya.
