Kapolsek Kedurang Ilir, Ipda. Erlan Piktori, S.IP, menjelaskan definisi narkoba, dasar hukum pemberantasannya, serta Instruksi Presiden Nomor 2 Tahun 2020 tentang Pencegahan dan Pemberantasan Penyalahgunaan Narkotika.
Ia menegaskan bahwa narkoba dan miras merupakan akar dari berbagai tindakan kriminal yang pernah terjadi di wilayah hukum Polsek Kedurang Ilir.
“Apabila ada pemuda-pemuda yang sudah menggunakan narkoba, sampaikan saja dengan pihak Polsek Kedurang Ilir.

Kami akan melakukan penanganan sesuai aturan,” tegasnya.
Ia juga meminta kerja sama pemerintah desa, sekolah, dan keluarga untuk lebih memperhatikan aktivitas pemuda guna mencegah keterlibatan mereka dalam pergaulan negatif.
“Kami juga mengingatkan agar masyarakat mewaspadai konsumsi miras, pil Samcodin, tuak, dan zat adiktif lainnya yang dapat memicu tindakan tidak terkontrol,” pesannya.
Selain itu, Kapolsek membuka ruang komunikasi bagi warga yang membutuhkan penjelasan lebih lanjut mengenai bahaya narkoba.

Ia menegaskan bahwa masyarakat dapat langsung berkoordinasi dengan personel Polsek atau bertemu dengannya apabila membutuhkan konseling atau ingin melapor.
“Kami ingin kegiatan penyuluhan berlangsung secara interaktif,” terangnya.
Peserta diberikan penjelasan mengenai dampak narkoba bagi kesehatan, psikologis, dan masa depan pemuda, serta cara mengenali tanda-tanda awal penyalahgunaan.
“Kami harap orang tua diimbau untuk lebih aktif mengawasi pergaulan anak-anaknya,” pungkasnya.
Adapun kegiatan sosialisasi kamtibmas ini diselenggarakan rutin Polres Bengkulu Selatan.
