Pengaspalan yang dibiayai APBD 2025 sebesar Rp 280.083.185,50 dengan SPK No. 000.3.2/03/SPK/RKP.23/DPU/2025, tanggal 5 November 2025 ternyata tak bertahan lama, Sabtu (22/11/2025).
Kontraktor pelaksana, CV. SANTONI, menyelesaikan pekerjaan dengan cepat yaitu sebelum habis masa pengerjaan selama 45 hari kalender. Namun, sangat disayangkan karena pekerjaan yang selesai dengan cepat tidak dibarengi dengan kualitas pekerjaan yang bagus. Pasalnya, kini jalan tersebut mengalami kerusakan dan menjadi sorotan warga sebagai penerima manfaat.
Salah satu warga berinisial O mengungkapkan kekecewaannya. “Kami berharap dengan anggaran sebesar itu, jalan bisa bertahan lebih lama. Tapi lihat saja, sudah rusak lagi dalam hitungan hari. Ini jelas tidak sesuai RAB,” katanya saat ditemui di pinggir jalan.

Saat awak Media mencoba mengkonfirmasi melalui WhatsApp, pihak pengawas dari Dinas Pekerjaan Umum (PU) Kabupaten Sukabumi, tidak memberikan respons dan seakan bungkam. Upaya menghubungi mereka berulang kali belum membuahkan jawaban.
Kondisi jalan di wilayah Cikidang memang sudah lama menjadi sorotan. Beberapa bulan lalu, media lokalpun melaporkan bahwa Jalan di salah satu titik di wilayah Cikidang mengalami kerusakan parah dan warga terpaksa melakukan perbaikan swadaya karena lambannya respons pemerintah. Situasi serupa kini terjadi di Pajagan‑Cikiray, menambah daftar infrastruktur yang belum optimal.
Dinas PU sebelumnya menyatakan komitmennya untuk meningkatkan infrastruktur pedesaan, termasuk pengaspalan ruas Pajagan‑Cikiray pada Juni 2025. Namun, dengan kerusakan yang muncul kembali, muncul pertanyaan tentang kualitas material dan pengawasan lapangan oleh dinas PU.
