Sukabumi,jurnaltipikor.com,-Dewan Pimpinan Cabang Persatuan Wartawan Republik Indonesia (DPC PWRI) Kabupaten Sukabumi sukses menggelar rapat perdana sekaligus pembentukan jajaran kepengurusan, bertempat di Rumah Makan Saung Rizky, Jalan Lingkar Selatan, Kota Sukabumi, Sabtu,(08/11/2025).
Turut hadir dalam kegiatan tersebut diatas jajaran pengurus PWRI se-Kabupaten Sukabumi, serta Ketua Umum DPP PWRI, Dr. Suriyanto PD, SH, MH, M.Kn., juga tamu undangan penting lainnya.
Kehadiran Ketua Umum DPP PWRI, sebagai bentuk dukungan moral dan motivasi bagi jajaran pengurus di daerah untuk terus menjaga profesionalisme serta integritas dalam menjalankan fungsi pers dan menjadikan momentum penting dalam memperkuat konsolidasi serta arah kerja organisasi ke depan.
Dalam sambutannya, Dr. Suriyanto PD menegaskan, bahwa PWRI harus menjadi garda terdepan dalam menjaga marwah jurnalisme dan berkontribusi aktif terhadap kemajuan bangsa, khususnya di tengah tantangan era digital saat ini.
“PWRI bukan sekadar organisasi profesi, tetapi wadah perjuangan untuk menjaga etika, profesionalisme, serta peran strategis pers dalam mengawal pembangunan nasional hingga tingkat daerah,” ujarnya.
Lanjut Suriyanto, di era digital seperti sekarang, jurnalis dituntut tidak hanya cepat dalam menyampaikan informasi, tetapi juga harus akurat, berimbang, dan mengedepankan tanggung jawab moral. PWRI hadir untuk memastikan insan pers bekerja dengan semangat kebangsaan dan berpihak pada kebenaran, bukan kepentingan sesaat.
Rapat berlangsung dalam suasana hangat dan penuh kekeluargaan. Selain membahas struktur kepengurusan, para peserta juga menyampaikan berbagai gagasan untuk memperkuat eksistensi PWRI di Kabupaten Sukabumi.
Dilokasi yang sama, Ketua DPC PWRI Kabupaten Sukabumi, Rizal Pane, dalam sambutannya menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih atas kehadiran Ketua Umum dan seluruh pengurus. Ia pun menegaskan komitmennya untuk memperkuat soliditas antaranggota dan menjadikan PWRI sebagai rumah besar bagi seluruh wartawan di Sukabumi.
“Ini adalah langkah awal kita bersama. Melalui semangat kebersamaan dan tanggung jawab bersama, saya yakin PWRI Sukabumi akan mampu berperan aktif, baik dalam bidang sosial, kemasyarakatan, maupun pembangunan daerah,” ungkapnya.

Kegiatan diakhiri dengan doa bersama dan sesi foto seluruh peserta, menandai semangat baru bagi PWRI Kabupaten Sukabumi dalam mewujudkan insan pers yang profesional, berintegritas, serta berperan aktif bagi kemajuan daerah dan bangsa.
