Bandung, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Pengelolaan sampah menjadi tantangan serius di tengah pesatnya pertumbuhan penduduk dan aktivitas perkotaan. Untuk mewujudkan Bandung yang bersih, nyaman, dan berkelanjutan, dibutuhkan kebijakan yang adaptif, inovatif, serta kolaborasi lintas sektor.
Sebagai bentuk komitmen dalam mendorong inovasi di bidang lingkungan, Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Bandung berpartisipasi aktif dalam seminar bertajuk “Transformasi Kebijakan dan Inovasi Pengelolaan Sampah Menuju Bandung Berkelanjutan”.
Kegiatan ini diselenggarakan oleh Program Studi Administrasi Publik Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (Fisip) Universitas Pasundan (Unpas) bekerja sama dengan Envmission, pada Jumat, 17 Oktober 2025, di Aula Suradiredja, Kampus I Unpas Jalan Lengkong.

Seminar ini menghadirkan Wakil Wali Kota Bandung, Erwin, sebagai narasumber utama, yang membahas arah kebijakan serta inovasi pengelolaan sampah di Kota Bandung.
“Apresiasi setinggi-tingginya kepada Unpas dan Envmission atas penyelenggaraan kegiatan ini. Tema yang diangkat sangat relevan dengan tantangan yang kita hadapi saat ini,” ujar Erwin.
Ia menegaskan, Pemkot Bandung telah menyiapkan berbagai langkah strategis dan konkret. Beberapa di antaranya seperti penyesuaian kebijakan dan regulasi pengelolaan sampah, penerapan edukasi Kang Pisman (Kurangi, Pisahkan, Manfaatkan) secara masif dari sumbernya, Pengembangan Kampung Bebas Sampah (KBS) di tingkat kecamatan dan RW, Inovasi pengolahan sampah organik, serta Pemanfaatan maggot untuk penguraian sampah organik.
“Bandung berkomitmen menghadirkan kebijakan yang adaptif terhadap tantangan lingkungan. Inovasi dan kolaborasi menjadi kunci dalam menciptakan sistem pengelolaan sampah yang efisien dan ramah lingkungan.
Semoga kolaborasi ini dapat menjadikan Bandung semakin bersih dan berkelanjutan,” tambah Erwin.
Sementara itu, Akademisi dari Fisip Unpas, Dr. Mira Rosana, menyoroti pentingnya peran dunia pendidikan dalam membangun kesadaran kritis terhadap isu lingkungan.
“Perguruan tinggi bukan hanya pusat ilmu, tetapi juga motor perubahan sosial. Lewat forum seperti ini, kami ingin mendorong munculnya gagasan baru dalam tata kelola lingkungan perkotaan,” jelasnya.
Dari sisi inovasi teknologi, Hikamiul Haq Ridwan dari Envmission menekankan pentingnya pendekatan berbasis digital dan partisipasi publik dalam sistem pengelolaan sampah modern.

Envmission, lanjutnya, terus mendorong masyarakat agar berperan aktif melalui sistem digitalisasi pengelolaan sampah yang transparan dan efisien.
Melalui kegiatan ini, Fisip Unpas berharap dapat memperkuat sinergi antara pemerintah, akademisi, dan masyarakat dalam menciptakan solusi konkret untuk pengelolaan sampah di Kota Bandung.
