Surabaya, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Kepolisian Daerah Jawa Timur (Polda Jatim) memastikan akan menjalankan proses hukum terkait insiden ambruknya bangunan Pondok Pesantren (Ponpes) Al Khoziny di Buduran, Sidoarjo.
Penegasan ini disampaikan setelah tim Badan Nasional Pencarian dan Pertolongan (Basarnas) resmi menyatakan proses pencarian korban di lokasi telah selesai.
Kepala Bidang Hubungan Masyarakat (Kabid Humas) Polda Jatim, Kombes Pol Jules Abraham Abast, menegaskan komitmen institusi dalam mengusut tuntas kasus ini.
“Perlu saya tegaskan kembali bahwa Polda Jawa Timur sejauh ini telah memberikan pernyataan dari Bapak Kapolda sendiri, bahwa proses hukum akan kami lakukan,” ujar Kombes Pol Jules Abraham Abast di Surabaya pada Selasa malam (7/10/2025).

Saat ini, upaya-upaya penyelidikan tengah intensif dilakukan oleh penyidik Polda Jatim, dan akan ditingkatkan ke tahap penyidikan setelah semua rangkaian penanganan bencana rampung.
“Terkait evaluasi struktur bangunan, kami akan melangkah ke sana. Pengambilan sampel seperti tulangan dan beton dilakukan untuk membantu proses pemeriksaan serta pembersihan lokasi,” tambahnya.
Pengambilan sampel material ini menjadi bagian krusial dalam penyelidikan untuk mengetahui penyebab struktural ambruknya bangunan.
Proses Identifikasi Korban Terus Berlanjut
Meskipun operasi pencarian telah dihentikan, Tim Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) Polda Jatim masih terus bekerja keras untuk menyelesaikan proses identifikasi jenazah korban.
Hingga Selasa malam (7/10/2025), Tim DVI Polda Jatim berhasil mengidentifikasi tambahan 17 jenazah korban ambruknya bangunan Ponpes Al Khoziny.
Dengan penambahan ini, total korban yang berhasil diidentifikasi tim gabungan mencapai 34 korban dari total 67 kantong jenazah yang telah diterima.
Polda Jatim memohon pengertian dan kesabaran dari masyarakat, khususnya keluarga korban.
“Kami mohon masyarakat dan keluarga korban bersabar. Biarkan tim DVI bekerja dengan baik agar seluruh jenazah dapat diidentifikasi dan diserahkan kepada keluarga,” pungkas Kombes Pol Jules Abraham Abast.
Polda Jatim berkomitmen untuk melaksanakan seluruh tahapan penanganan, mulai dari identifikasi hingga penegakan hukum, secara profesional, transparan, dan berjenjang.
