Nanang Sumpena menyembelih 2 ekor sapi yang dibagikan kepada para santri dan masyarakat sekitar ponpes Ar-Ridho yang berlokasi di Kp. Anggayuda Rt. 03/05, Desa Pamuruyan, Kecamatan Cibadak, Kabupaten Sukabumi, Sabtu(07/06/2025).
Idul Adha adalah sebuah hari raya dalam agama Islam. Dimana, dihari ini memperingati peristiwa kurban, yaitu ketika Nabi Ibrahim As bersedia mengorbankan putranya Isma’il sebagai wujud kepatuhan terhadap Allah SWT. Sebelum Ibrahim mengorbankan putranya, Allah menggantikan Ismail dengan domba.
Pimpinan Ponpes Ar-Ridho, KH. Nanang Sumpena menyampaikan ucapan syukurnya atas segala nikmat yang telah Allah berikan baik itu nikmat Iman, nikmat Islam, nikmat sehat, nikmat rizki dan nikmat-nikmat lainnya.
“Syukur Alhamdulillah, dihari raya Idul Adha tahun ini kami diberikan kesempatan oleh Allah SWT untuk bisa berkurban 2 ekor sapi,”ungkapnya.

KH. Nanang Sumpena pun menjelaskan, bahwa Peristiwa besar dan agung dari kerelaan Nabi Ibrahim untuk menyembelih anaknya yaitu Nabi Ismail, tentunya mengandung banyak hikmah dan pelajaran yang sangat berharga bagi seluruh umat manusia untuk dipahami dan diteladani.
Pertama, berqurban itu sebagai bentuk curahan cinta dan ketaatan kita kepada Tuhan.
“Sesungguhnya, Kami telah memberikan karunia sangat banyak kepadamu, maka sholatlah untuk Tuhanmu dan sembelihlah qurban (Al-Kautsar: 1-2).
Kedua, sejatinya ibadah qurban adalah perintah untuk mengorbankan sifat egois, sifat mementingkan diri sendiri, rakus dan serakah.
Ketiga, perintah berqurban adalah perintah bagi mereka yang mampu memiliki kelebihan rezeki dan membagikan dagingnya untuk kaum miskin dan dhuafa yang membutuhkan. Dimana, hal ini adalah bentuk komunikasi sosial untuk saling membantu berbagi kenikmatan dalam perayaan Idul Adha.
Keempat, hewan qurban akan menjadi saksi amal ibadah di hari kiamat nanti. Hewan yang diqurbankan akan datang mewujud menjadi amal kebaikan yang pada gilirannya akan menyelamatkan Nasib tuannya di hari akhir nanti.
“Tidak ada amalan yang dikerjakan anak Adam ketika hari (raya) qurban yang lebih dicintai oleh Allah Azza Wa Jalla dari mengalirkan darah, sesungguhnya pada hari kiamat ia akan datang dgn tanduk-tanduknya, kuku-kukunya dan bulu-bulunya. Dan sesungguhnya darah tersebut akan sampai kepada Allah Azza Wa Jalla sebelum jatuh ke tanah, maka perbaguslah jiwa kalian dengannya (HR Ibnu Majah).
Kelima, orang berqurban dibalas dengan kebaikan dan pahala yang berlimpah. Bahkan, balasan pahala berkurban tidak terhitung jumlahnya. Analogi yang diberikan, bahwa setiap bulu dari hewan yang diqurbankan mengandung satu pahala dan kebaikan bagi orang yang berqurban.
“Berkata kepada kami Muhammad bin Khalaf Al ‘Asqalani, berkata kepada kami Adam bin Abi lyas, berkata kepada kami Sullam bin Miskin, berkata kepada kami ‘Aidzullah, dari Abu Dawud, dari Zaid bin Arqam, dia berkata: berkata para sahabat Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘Alaihi wa Sallam: “Wahai Rasulullah, hewan qurban apa ini?” Beliau bersabda: “Ini adalah sunah bapak kalian, Ibrahim.” Mereka berkata: “Lalu pada hewan tersebut, kami dapat apa wahai Rasulullah?” Beliau bersabda: “Pada setiap bulu ada satu kebaikan.” Mereka berkata: “Bagaimana dengan shuf (bulu domba)?” Beliau bersabda: “Pada setiap bulu shuf ada satu kebaikan (HR. Riwayat Ibnu Majah).
“Semoga, penyembelihan hewan qurban ini menjadi wasilah hadirnya Rahmat dan Ridho Allah SWT, dan semoga kita semua dicintai oleh Allah SWT, Aamiin, ” pungkasnya.
