Bandung, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Jajaran Pangkalan TNI Angkatan Udara (Lanud) Husein Sastranegara Bandung menunjukkan komitmennya dalam memperkuat ketahanan pangan dan gizi masyarakat dengan memproduksi sayuran berkualitas tinggi.
Sayuran ini akan diolah menjadi menu makanan bergizi gratis yang akan didistribusikan kepada masyarakat, khususnya anak-anak sekolah di sekitar Lanud.
Kepala Dinas Penerangan TNI Angkatan Udara (Kadispenau) Marsekal Pertama TNI I Nyoman Suadnyana menjelaskan bahwa inisiatif ini merupakan bagian dari upaya penguatan ketahanan pangan.
“Bahan makanan yang diproduksi meliputi tanaman pakcoy yang baru saja panen beberapa hari lalu,” ujar Marsekal Pertama TNI I Nyoman dalam siaran pers resmi TNI AU yang disiarkan di Jakarta, Sabtu (31/5/2025).
Pakcoy tersebut dibudidayakan di lahan sekitar Lanud yang dikelola langsung oleh personel TNI AU. Komandan Lanud Husein Sastranegara Kolonel Pnb. Alfian menambahkan bahwa seluruh proses penanaman hingga panen pakcoy telah melalui standar kualitas yang ketat.
Setelah panen, kualitas bahan pangan ini akan kembali diuji oleh Badan Gizi Nasional (BGN) sebelum diolah menjadi menu makanan bergizi gratis. Nantinya, Lanud Husein Sastranegara akan menyebarkan ribuan porsi makanan yang telah diolah di dapur mereka ke sekolah-sekolah di sekitar.
“Panen pakcoy ini tidak hanya menjadi wujud ketahanan pangan lokal, tetapi juga mendukung pemenuhan gizi seimbang, khususnya bagi anak-anak dan masyarakat di sekitar Lanud Husein Sastranegara,” jelas Kolonel Pnb. Alfian.

Selain pakcoy, Lanud Husein Sastranegara juga membudidayakan berbagai jenis sayuran lain seperti bayam, sawi, dan kangkung untuk memenuhi kebutuhan program Makanan Bergizi Gratis (MBG).
Kolonel Pnb. Alfian menegaskan bahwa produksi sayuran berkualitas ini akan terus berlanjut guna mendukung program pemerintah dalam memperkuat ketahanan pangan dan memaksimalkan program MBG bagi para siswa.
