Bandung, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Wali Kota Bandung, Muhammad Farhan memastikan pelaksanaan Sistem Penerimaan Murid Baru (SPMB) tahun ajaran 2025/2026 akan berjalan lancar dan transparan.
Hal ini ia sampaikan dalam program “Siaran Bareng Pak Wali” yang ditayangkan oleh TVRI Jawa Barat.
Menurut Farhan, SPMB tahun ini mengadopsi banyak sistem dari tahun-tahun sebelumnya yang telah berjalan baik, sehingga perubahan yang terjadi bersifat minimal.
“Khusus di Kota Bandung, sistem ini tidak banyak berubah karena sejak lama kita sudah menggunakan mekanisme yang kini dijadikan rujukan nasional,” ujar Farhan.

Salah satu perubahan yang disoroti adalah peralihan dari sistem zonasi ke sistem domisili. Untuk jenjang SD, domisili dalam radius maksimal 1.000 meter dari sekolah menjadi dasar seleksi, sedangkan untuk SMP jaraknya adalah 3.000 meter.
“Artinya, walau beda wilayah, jika jaraknya memenuhi kriteria, calon siswa tetap bisa mendaftar,” jelasnya.
Farhan juga merinci jalur-jalur penerimaan SPMB yaitu jalur Domisili, Afirmasi, Prestasi, dan Mutasi. Kuota penerimaan untuk SD ditetapkan 80 persen melalui jalur domisili, 15 persen afirmasi, dan 5 persen mutasi.

Sementara untuk SMP, jalur domisili dialokasikan 40 persen, afirmasi 30 persen, prestasi 25 persen, dan mutasi 5 persen.
Dalam rangka menjamin keadilan dan integritas proses, Pemkot Bandung akan bekerja sama dengan DPRD, Inspektorat, dan Aparat Penegak Hukum (APH) untuk melakukan pengawasan.
“Check and balances akan kita jalankan bersama. Semua pihak akan terlibat untuk memastikan tak ada penyimpangan,” tegasnya.
Khusus jalur afirmasi, terdapat dua kategori utama: Rawan Melanjutkan Pendidikan (RMP) dan Murid Berkebutuhan Khusus (MBK). Kategori RMP mencakup siswa dari keluarga kurang mampu yang tercatat dalam Data Terpadu Kesejahteraan Sosial (DTKS) atau Data Tunggal Sosial Ekonomi Nasional (DTSEN).
Sedangkan MBK memerlukan rekomendasi dari Unit Layanan Disabilitas (ULD) setelah menjalani asesmen.
Mutasi siswa pun diatur ketat. Farhan menekankan bahwa mutasi hanya berlaku bagi perpindahan keluarga utuh.
“Harus satu keluarga, bukan hanya anaknya saja. Dan perpindahan harus sudah tercatat sebelum 23 Juni 2024,” jelasnya.
Masyarakat diminta aktif mengakses informasi melalui laman resmi spmb.bandung.go.id dan media sosial Dinas Pendidikan Kota Bandung.

Proses pendaftaran dilakukan sepenuhnya secara online, mulai dari tanggal 23 hingga 27 Juni 2025. Tes Terstandar Daerah untuk jalur prestasi akan digelar 30 Juni hingga 4 Juli 2025, dengan hasil seleksi diumumkan pada 7 Juli 2025.
Farhan mengimbau para orang tua untuk memahami seluruh mekanisme SPMB dengan cermat.
“Semua SD dan SMP di Bandung sudah memenuhi standar kualitas. Jangan hanya melihat sekolah unggulan, tapi yakini bahwa semua sekolah negeri di Bandung layak dan siap mendidik anak-anak kita,” tutupnya.(ray/red)
