Bandung, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Gubernur Jawa Barat, Dedi Mulyadi, menegaskan komitmennya untuk tidak mundur selangkah pun dalam upaya memberantas praktik premanisme yang masih terjadi di sejumlah wilayah di Jawa Barat.
Penegasan ini disampaikan Dedi saat menjawab pertanyaan awak media terkait ancaman pembunuhan yang ia terima saat melakukan siaran langsung (live streaming) di media sosial baru-baru ini.
“Ancaman pembunuhan tidak akan menghentikan langkah saya dalam memberantas premanisme. Saya akan terus berjuang untuk menciptakan Jawa Barat yang aman dan nyaman bagi seluruh masyarakat,” ujar Dedi.

Dedi menjelaskan bahwa ancaman tersebut justru semakin memotivasinya untuk bekerja lebih keras. Ia percaya bahwa praktik premanisme merusak tatanan sosial dan menghambat pembangunan daerah.
Oleh karena itu, ia akan terus berkoordinasi dengan aparat penegak hukum untuk menindak tegas para pelaku premanisme.
“Kami akan terus melakukan operasi penertiban dan penegakan hukum terhadap para pelaku premanisme. Kami juga akan menggandeng masyarakat untuk bersama-sama menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif,” tambahnya.
Dedi juga mengimbau kepada masyarakat untuk tidak takut melaporkan jika melihat atau menjadi korban praktik premanisme. Ia menjamin bahwa laporan masyarakat akan ditindaklanjuti dengan serius.
“Masyarakat jangan takut untuk melapor. Kami akan melindungi identitas pelapor dan menindak tegas para pelaku premanisme,” tegasnya.
Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Barat berkomitmen untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang aman dan nyaman bagi seluruh masyarakat.
Upaya pemberantasan premanisme akan terus dilakukan secara berkelanjutan dan terkoordinasi dengan berbagai pihak. (AT)
