Bandung, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Wali Kota Bandung, Muhammad Farhan, meninjau jalur-jalur yang akan dilalui BRT, mulai dari Jalan Ahmad Yani hingga Asia Afrika.
Jalur yang dipantau, antara lain melewati kawasan Jalan Ahmad Yani (Kosambi-Cicadas), lalu ke Jalan Terusan Jakarta, lalu menuju Jalan Asia Afrika melintasi kembali Jalan Ahmad Yani.
“Proyek BRT dari pemerintah pusat yang dibiayai oleh World Bank ini sudah mulai berjalan. Kalau Bapak-Ibu lihat di sepanjang Jalan Ahmad Yani sampai ke Asia Afrika, sudah ada patok-patok merah bertuliskan ‘BRT 1’,” ujar Farhan di sela-sela peninjauan, Rabu 23 April 2025.

Dalam kegiatan ini, Farhan dan sejumlah Kepala OPD pendamping melakukan simulasi dengan bersepeda, lalu berhenti di halte-halte yang telah ditentukan.
Hal ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji langsung dampak sosial dan ekonomi yang mungkin timbul, serta mengamati potensi kemacetan akibat keberadaan halte.
“Kami sedang melakukan survei untuk mengetahui seperti apa dampaknya bagi masyarakat. Dengan bersepeda, kami berhenti di beberapa titik halte dan melihat langsung bagaimana arus lalu lintas akan terpengaruh,” jelasnya.

Untuk diketahui, di Kota Bandung, akan dibangun total 34 halte BRT. Dari hasil peninjauan, Farhan menyebut, beberapa titik yang dinilai cukup mengkhawatirkan berada di sepanjang kawasan Kosambi hingga Cicadas, karena potensi kepadatan lalu lintas yang lebih tinggi di daerah tersebut.
Pembangunan BRT ini diharapkan bisa menjadi solusi transportasi massal yang lebih efisien, ramah lingkungan, dan nyaman bagi warga Kota Bandung, dengan tetap memperhatikan aspek sosial di sepanjang jalur yang akan dilintasi. (ray/red)
