MAKASSAR, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Kabar gembira datang bagi masyarakat Kabupaten Wajo terkait pembangunan infrastruktur jalan. Komisi III DPRD Kabupaten Wajo yang melakukan kunjungan kerja ke Dinas Bina Marga dan Bina Konstruksi Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan pada Rabu (23/4/2025) membawa pulang kepastian mengenai rencana pembangunan ruas-ruas jalan provinsi di wilayah Wajo.
Rombongan yang dipimpin oleh Ketua Komisi III, Andi Bayuni Marzuki, dan didampingi langsung oleh Ketua DPRD Wajo, Firmansyah Perkesi, berhasil mendapatkan konfirmasi bahwa ruas-ruas jalan strategis di Kabupaten Wajo telah masuk dalam perencanaan pembangunan tahun 2025.
“Alhamdulillah, apa yang disampaikan Pak Gubernur pada peringatan Hari Jadi Wajo sudah masuk dalam perencanaan untuk tahun 2025, walaupun sifatnya parsial dalam bentuk paket maupun dalam kecenderungannya multi-years,” ungkap Ketua Komisi III, Andi Bayuni Marzuki seusai pertemuan.

Dalam pertemuan yang diterima langsung oleh Plt. Sekretaris Dinas Bina Marga dan Bina Konstruksi Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, H. Nihaya, ST., MT, terungkap beberapa ruas jalan prioritas yang akan mendapat perhatian khusus, terutama jalur-jalur dengan Lalu Lintas Harian Rata-rata (LHR) yang padat, meliputi: Ruas Anabanua-ImpaImpa, Ruas Anabanua-Belawa, Ruas Atapangnge-Doping, dan Ruas Ulugalung-Salonro.
Kabar menggembirakan lainnya adalah kepastian untuk Jalur Peneki-Kolampu yang sebelumnya dibatalkan anggarannya akibat efisiensi dana DAU sekitar 18 miliar. Plt. Sekretaris Dinas Bina Marga membenarkan bahwa Gubernur telah berkomitmen mengupayakan kembali pendanaan proyek tersebut melalui APBD Provinsi meskipun pelaksanaannya bersifat multi-years.
“Di samping itu juga ada beberapa ruas yang ada di Bone, Soppeng, Sinjai, dan Sidrap yang mungkin ada dalam satu paket dengan jalan-jalan yang ada di Wajo,” tambah Andi Bayuni.
Tak hanya fokus pada infrastruktur jalan, dalam kesempatan tersebut Komisi III DPRD Wajo juga mengusulkan perbaikan seluruh sistem irigasi yang ada di Kabupaten Wajo. Usulan ini terutama menekankan pada penanganan sawah-sawah tadah hujan yang membutuhkan sistem irigasi baru untuk meningkatkan produktivitas pertanian.
