Bandung, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Bandung berhasil menata Seke Babakan Ledeng di Jalan Sersan Surip Kelurahan Ledeng, Kecamatan Cidadap
Dengan luas area sekitar 944,26 meter persegi, seke ini menjadi contoh pelestarian mata air berjalan seiring dengan pemanfaatan ruang bagi masyarakat.
“Dengan penataan yang memperhatikan kelestarian alam, kawasan ini kini hadir tidak hanya sebagai sumber air bersih, tetapi juga sebagai ruang hijau yang nyaman, edukatif, dan menjadi daya tarik wisata,” ungkap Wakil Wali Kota Bandung, Erwin saat meresmikan Seke Babakan Ledeng, Selasa 15 April 2025.

Erwin mengatakan, penataan ini merupakan bagian dari komitmen Pemkot Bandung dalam menghadirkan ruang terbuka hijau yang bermanfaat, dan mendukung konservasi sumber daya alam
“Khususnya mata air, yang selama ini menjadi sumber kehidupan masyarakat,” tuturnya.
Sementara itu, Kepala Dinas Sumber Daya Air dan Bina Marga Kota Bandung, Didi Ruswandi menyampaikan, Seke Babakan Ledeng berlokasi di Jalan Sersan Surip, Kampung Babakan, RT.05 RW.04, Kelurahan Ledeng, Kecamatan Cidadap.
“Pembangunan penataan landscape Mata Air Seke Babakan Ledeng
sebagai bagian dari upaya konservasi mata air. Hal ini menjadi bagian dari ruang publik yang bisa berfungsi untuk berbagai kegiatan masyarakat seperti uang interaksi sosial seperti ruang edukasi sampai reksreasi bagi masyarakat,“ katanya.

Menurutnya, penataan landscape Seke Babakan dibangun dengan pendekatan konsep Arsitektur Hijau, dengan aplikasi material struktur dan konstruksi yang sebagian besar mengaplikasikan Material Bambu.
“Untuk Kolam Mata Air (Seke), menggunakan susunan batu bulat, menjadi fungsi sebagai filtrasi mata air secara alami,” jelasnya.
Penataan landscape Seke Babakan didisain dengan tidak merubah terlalu ekstrim kondisi kontur tanah yang ada.
Terdapat view deck dengan konstruksi bambu, sebagai vocal point dan spot foto bagi pengunjung dan nilai tambah penataan.
“Adapun tanaman keras berjumlah 150 bibit pohon kopi, lengkeng, mangga, kapundung dan katapang kencana. Sementara untuk tanaman hijau daun sebanyak 945 bibit pohon pisang halekonia, kana, marantah, airis, pakis, parigata, kencana ungu, akar wangi, bambu Jepang, pucuk merah, landep,” bebernya. (yan/red)
