Jakarta, jurnaltipikor.com,-Sebagai wujud solidaritas antar bangsa, Kodam III/Siliwangi menyalurkan bantuan kemanusiaan kepada korban Gempa Bumi di Myanmar. Penyaluran bantuan dilaksanakan melalui Korem Jajaran Kodam III/Slw dan dihimpun di Lanud Halim Perdanakusuma, Jakarta Timur, Rabu (02/04/2025).
Gempa bumi berkekuatan 7.7 SR yang mengguncang Myanmar pada akhir Maret lalu telah menewaskan ribuan jiwa dan menyebabkan kerusakan parah pada infrastruktur di berbagai wilayah. Dampak bencana tersebut begitu besar dan menyebabkan banyak warga yang kehilangan tempat tinggal dan kebutuhan dasar.
Untuk membantu meringankan para korban yang terdampak, TNI dengan seluruh jajarannya termasuk Kodam III/Siliwangi akan mengirimkan bantuan kemanusiaan yang meliputi selimut, matras, sleeping bag, terpal, pakaian anak-anak, pakaian pria dan wanita, pakaian dalam, handuk, antiseptik, perban, kasur lipat, masker, genset, handsanitizer, serta berbagai macam obat-obatan.
Bantuan tersebut merupakan bagian dari komitmen Kodam III/Siliwangi dan jajarannya beserta instansi, mitra, swasta dan lainnya untuk membantu masyarakat Myanmar yang tengah menghadapi krisis pasca bencana gempa.
TNI bersama instansi terkait terus berupaya untuk memberikan dukungan dalam krisis kemanusiaan tersebut dengan memastikan bahwa bantuan dapat sampai ke lokasi yang membutuhkan secepatnya serta diterima dengan tepat sasaran.
Dengan berbagai dukungan untuk bantuan kemanusiaan, diharapkan dapat memberikan harapan bagi masyarakat Myanmar yang sedang berjuang untuk pulih dari dampak bencana gempa bumi yang menelan banyak korban jiwa dan menghancurkan berbagai infrastruktur secara luas.
