TML utk bertanggung jawab atas jebolnya salah satu kolam limbah Pabrik Kelapa sawit Milik Pemda Bengkalis bersama Koperasi Tengganau Mandiri yg di Eksploitasi secara ilegal sejak putusan MA tgl 17/9/ 2014 s/d akhir desember 2024 .
Akibat kolam pecah, air sungai tercemar, sawit mati, ikan punah, mata pencaharian mereka Mati. Ini dikarenakan PT. TML tidak pernah melakukan perawatan rutin terhadap kolam – kolam proses pemurnian limbah.
Pabrik milik Pemda Bengkalis dan Koperasi Tengganau Mandiri diduga dijadikan oleh Sunardi untuk menumpuk harta, Pabrik dibuat seperti sapi perah , yang diambil susunya tapi tidak diberi asupan rumput yang baik, setelah sapinya hampir mati, si pemerah lantas pergi begitu saja. Akibat tindakan yg tdk bertangtung jawab ini , sejak beberapa hari yg lalu rakyat menjadi korban, sumber mata pencaharian mereka tercemar limbah.

Hari ini perwakilan masyarakat beberapa desa yg dialiri sungai yg tercemar, berdemo didepan Pabrik PKS TML, meminta Pemda Bengkalis menghadirkan Sunardi dirut PT.TML yang selama ini mengaku, dia yg punya pabrik, untuk bertanggung jawab atas pencemaran lingkungan desa mereka, ujar salah seorang warga yang tidak mau menyebutkan namanya kepada Jurnal Tipikor, Minggu (23/3/2025).

“hilangnya PAD selama 10 tahun (2014-2024) serta lihatlah kejadian hari ini, rakyat dirugikan akibat pabrik di eksploitasi tanpa ada perawatan, yang berakibat limbah mencemari lingkungan sekitar pabrik, tutupnya.
