JURNAL TIPIKOR – Menteri Perumahan dan Kawasan Pemukiman, Maruararar Sirait mendapat dukungan penuh dari sejumlah pengusaha di Tanah Air.
Maruarar Sirait memang dipercaya oleh Presiden Republik Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto untuk mengerjakan program perumahan untuk rakyat.
Kinerja Maruarar Sirait pun mendapat apresiasi dari beberapa pengusaha di Indonesia salah satunya James Riady.

James Riady memuji sosok yang akrab disapa Ara itu sebagai Menteri yang berkomitmen.
“Kita kagum keinginan Pak Prabowo yang tidak ingin ada masyarakat yang di Bawah garis kemiskinan,” ungkap James Riady.
“Ini hari kita bersyukur sekali Pak Menteri ini mau turun lapangan meninjau dan tujuannya bagaimana?”
“Semangatnya dan semua jajarannya ini hari pun juga hadir. Itu memberikan kekuatan, semangat untuk kita semua,” sambungnya.
Maruarar Sirait sendiri berkomitmen untuk menindak jika ada orang yang nakal dalam program ini.
Hal ini sejalan dengan keinginan Prabowo Subianto untuk bersih-bersih praktik korupsi di Indonesia.
Bahkan pimpinan partai Gerindra itu mendukung penuh penegak hukum untuk memberi sanksi yang seberat mungkin untuk koruptor
Hal tersebut juga diamini oleh Maruarar Sirait baru-baru ini saat bertemu dengan beberapa pengusaha asal Indonesia termasuk James Riady.
Kepada awak media, Maruarar Sirait menegaskan komitmennya untuk mendukung penuh program Prabowo tersebut.
“Yang mau nipu rakyat akan kita sikat,” kata Maruarar Sirait pada Sabtu (15/3/2025).
“Ini negara hukum, jangan tajam ke bawah dan tumpul ke atas,” sambung pria yang akrab disapa Ara itu

Lebih lanjut, Ara mengatakan tidak boleh adanya tebang pilih dalam perkara kasus korupsi.
“Kalau ada yang kebangetan ya tidak boleh, saya dengar kejaksaan akan menuntut hukuman mati (untuk kasus korupsi,” ujar Ara.(*)
