Jakarta, JURNAL TIPIKOR — Wakil Rektor Bidang Kemahasiswaan dan Alumni Universitas Bengkulu Candra Irawan mengungkapkan kesannya usai menghadiri Panel Diskusi Presiden RI Prabowo dengan Rektor Serta Pimpinan Perguruan Tinggi Negeri dan Swasta di Istana Kepresidenan Jakarta, Kamis (13/3).
“Ada banyak sekali hal menarik yang disampaikan oleh Bapak Presiden tadi terutama berkaitan tentang persoalan betapa kayanya kita akan sumber daya alam yang tidak dimiliki oleh negara lain, tetapi sayangnya sumber daya tersebut belum dikelola dengan baik, dan dimasa kepemimpinan beliau (Prabowo) ini sepertinya memberikan optimisme kepada kita semua,” tutur Candra.
Candra menyebutkan ada banyak sekali Sumber Daya Alam yang dimiliki oleh bangsa Indonesia seperti yang dipaparkan oleh Prabowo dalam panel diskusi yang berlangsung selama kurang lebih lima jam lamanya itu.
“Di masa kepemimpinan beliau (Prabowo) ini sepertinya memberikan optimisme kepada kita semua bahwa semua sumber daya alam itu apakah itu berupa nikel, boksit, kemudian mineral dan seterusnya itu sebetulnya akan digunakan dimaksimalkan untuk kemampuan rakyat indonesia,” ujar dia.
Hal lain lagi yang menurutnya menarik dari panel diskusi antara Prabowo dan para rektor adalah kebijakan penghematan anggaran yang dilakukan Prabowo di Kementerian dan Lembaga, yang mampu menghemat ratusan triliun dan akan berdampak pada kemajuan Indonesia ke arah yang lebih cerah.
“Beliau (Prabowo) mengingingkan kebocoran-kebocoran terhadap APBN itu bisa diminimalisir, dan ternyata gebrakan beliau yang mengefisienkan di berbagai Kementerian/Lembaga itu beliau mampu menghemat ratusan triliun dan saya kira ini dampaknya bagus sekali kalau itu digunakan untuk memberikan fasilitas kemudian membangun ya demi kemajuan negara indonesia saya kira optimisme luar biasa yang beliau tularkan kepada rakyat,” jelasnya.
Candra pun optimistis bahwa di era pemerintahan Prabowo akan membawa Indonesia semakin cerah.
