Bandung, JURNAL TIPIKOR- Wali Kota Bandung, M. Farhan, menerima silaturahmi dari Kementerian Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia (Kemenkumham) RI melalui Kantor Wilayah Jawa Barat dalam rangka sosialisasi Peacemaker Justice Award (PJA), di Pendopo Kota Bandung, pada Jumat, 14 Maret 2025.
Acara ini dihadiri oleh jajaran pejabat terkait, termasuk Kepala Kanwil Kemenkumham Jabar, Asep Sunandar, serta perwakilan camat dan lurah se-Kota Bandung.
Asep Sunandar menjelaskan, Peacemaker Justice Award merupakan program yang bertujuan memberikan penghargaan kepada lurah atau kepala desa yang berhasil menyelesaikan sengketa di masyarakat tanpa melalui jalur hukum.
“Tahun sebelumnya program ini berbentuk kontestasi, tetapi sekarang lebih ditekankan pada pelatihan. Yang terpenting bukan hanya penghargaan, tetapi peningkatan kapasitas lurah dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan hukum,” ujar Asep.

Para lurah yang mendaftar akan mengikuti pelatihan virtual selama tiga hari yang diselenggarakan oleh Badan Pembinaan Hukum Nasional (BPHN). Pendaftaran dibuka hingga 27 Maret 2025 secara online tanpa perlu hadir di Jakarta.
Wali Kota Bandung, Muhammad Farhan, menyambut baik program ini dan mendorong para lurah untuk ikut serta.
Menurutnya, program ini sangat relevan mengingat banyak lurah dan camat di Bandung yang menghadapi berbagai permasalahan hukum di masyarakat, terutama terkait sengketa tanah serta kekerasan terhadap perempuan dan anak.
“Para lurah dan camat kerap menghadapi tantangan dalam menangani kasus-kasus hukum, terutama yang sensitif. Program ini sangat bagus karena memberikan pedoman yang jelas dalam penyelesaian sengketa di tingkat masyarakat,” ujar Farhan.

Pemkot Bandung juga mengusulkan agar persyaratan pendaftaran bisa disederhanakan agar lebih banyak lurah yang dapat berpartisipasi.
Selain itu, akan dilakukan sosialisasi lanjutan untuk memastikan program ini bisa dipahami dengan baik oleh seluruh lurah di Kota Bandung.
Pertemuan ini diakhiri dengan komitmen bersama untuk meningkatkan kapasitas aparatur kelurahan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan hukum secara efektif di tingkat masyarakat. (ziz/red)
