Bandung, JURNAL TIPIKOR – HIV/AIDS masih menjadi tantangan besar di dunia, termasuk di Kota Bandung. Pemerintah telah menargetkan tujuan penanggulangan ini hingga tahun 2030 dengan pendekatan Three Zero, yaitu zero infeksi HIV baru, zero kematian karena aids, dan zero stigma dan diskriminasi
Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, kita harus sama-sama berkomitmen dalam upaya pencegahan dan penanggulangan HIV/Aids dengan strategi stop (suluh, temukan, obati, dan pertahankan),” beber Wali Kota Bandung, Muhammad Farhan pada kegiatan Spiritual Building Kepada Komunitas dan Penggiat HIV/AIDS di Aula Masjid Agung Al Ukhuwah, Kamis 6 Maret 2025.
Menurut Farhan, strategi tersebut mencakup berbagai aspek. Mulai dari edukasi kepada masyarakat, deteksi dini bagi yang berisiko, akses pengobatan yang mudah dan berkelanjutan, serta pendampingan kepada orang dengan HIV (Odhiv) agar tetap menjalani pengobatan secara konsisten.
“Tantangan terbesar dalam upaya ini bukan hanya dari sisi medis, tetapi juga dari stigma dan diskriminasi yang masih melekat di masyarakat,” bebernya.
Ia mengatakan, dalam menghadapi tantangan tersebut, tidak hanya mengandalkan aspek medis saja. Dibutuhkan sebuah kesatuan antara fisik, mental, dan spiritual.
“Oleh karena itu, melalui acara ini, kita ingin menguatkan kembali bahwa penanggulangan HIV/AIDS harus dilakukan secara komprehensif, dengan menggabungkan pengobatan medis dan kekuatan spiritual,” ungkapnya.
Dengan peran aktif dan kolaborasi selurih pihak, Farhan optimis, tujuan Three Zero di Kota Bandung pada tahun 2030 dapat tercapai.
“Mari kita bersama wujudkan Kota Bandung yang sehat, inklusif, dan penuh kepedulian,” tuturnya.
Di tempat yang sama, Ketua Panitia Spiritual Building Untuk Komunitas dan Penggiat HIV/AIDS, Maya mengungkapkan, berdasarkan data Dinas Kesehatan Kota Bandung, sejak tahun 1991 hingga Januari 2025, jumlah kasus HIV/AIDS di Kota Banding secara kumulatif telah mencapai 9.784 orang.
Dari jumlah tersebut, hanya 6.370 Odhiv atau sekitar 65% yang patuh menjalani pengobatan.
“Ini menunjukkan bahwa masih ada tantangan besar dalam memastikan setiap Odhiv mendapatkan akses pengobatan dan dukungan sosial yang memadai,” bebernya.
Ia mengungkapkan, kegiatan ini mengusung tema “Satukan Hati, Kuatkan Diri, Bersama Tebar Cinta”. Tema tersebut mengingatkan bahwa meskipun jalan yang kita tempuh penuh tantangan.
“Kita tidak pernah benar-benar sendiri. Ketika bersatu dengan hati yang penuh semangat dan saling mendukung. Kita akan menemukan kekuatan yang jauh lebih besar dari yang dibayangkan,” ujarnya. (yan/red)
