Diketahui, setelah tiba di Sengkang, Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Wajo langsung mengikuti Serah Terima Jabatan di Gedung DPRD Kabupaten Wajo.
Bupati Wajo, H.Andi Rosman saat memberikan sambutan mengatakan hari ini adalah hari yang bersejarah bagi kita semua masyarakat kabupaten Wajo, setelah ia bersama H.Baso Rakhmanuddin dilantik oleh Presiden Prabowo Subianto sebagai Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Wajo periode 2024-2029 telah mengakhiri seluruh rangkaian Pilkada Serentak.
Ia pun meminta kepada masyarakat kabupaten Wajo agar melupakan proses Pilkada 2024 lalu.
” Kita semua harus bersatu dan fokus memikirkan hal-hal yang tersisa dari Pemerintahan sebelumnya baik yang ditinggalkan oleh Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Wajo periode 2018-2024, H.Amran Mahmud dan H.Amran, maupun yang ditinggalkan oleh Pj.Bupati Wajo Andi Bataralifu, ” ujarnya.
Selain itu, Alumni STPDN Jatinangor ini mengapresiasi kinerja Pj.Bupati Wajo Andi Bataralifu yang selama satu tahun terakhir telah bekerja keras dalam melakukan perubahan dan loncatan pembangunan di kabupaten Wajo.
“Terima kasih Pak Andi Bataralifu bersama Ibu Farida Kurnianingrum yang telah bekerja untuk masyarakat kabupaten Wajo. Tentu apa yang telah dilakukan di Wajo akan menjadi pedoman untuk melanjutkan pembangunan selama lima tahun kedepan, ” ujarnya.
