Jakarta, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Menteri Pertahanan (Menhan) Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin mengatakan bahwa personel Bintara Pembina Desa (Babinsa) dan Bhayangkara Pembina Keamanan dan Ketertiban Masyarakat (Bhabinkamtibmas) akan menggunakan kendaraan khusus (Ransus) Maung MV3 produksi PT Pindad.
Dia mengatakan bahwa pemerintah sudah menyerahkan secara bertahap ransus yang diproduksi PT Pindad itu kepada institusi-institusi pertahanan dan keamanan. Nantinya, kata dia, produk dalam negeri itu digunakan oleh personel berbagai tingkatan.
“Ini akan digunakan secara terus menerus di seluruh pelosok, dan di seluruh tingkatan, mulai dari Panglima, Kapolri, KSAU, KSAL, KSAD sampai ke tingkat desa, Babinsa, Babinkamtibmas,” kata Sjafrie saat penyerahan Maung MV3 di Pangkalan Udara (Lanud) Husein Sastranegara, Bandung, Jawa Barat, Sabtu.
Namun, dia mengatakan bahwa kendaraan yang akan digunakan oleh pimpinan TNI maupun Polri akan dilengkapi dengan pendingin udara atau air conditioner (AC). Sedangkan kendaraan untuk operasional prajurit memiliki spesifikasi yang terbuka.
Dia mengatakan bahwa Maung MV3 adalah satu kebanggaan nasional sedang dibangkitkan oleh negara agar Indonesia tampil sebagai yang bermartabat. Menurut dia, Indonesia ingin agar setara dengan negara maju lainnya di dunia.
“Ini adalah pertanda bahwa industri nasional kita ini bangkit untuk mendukung kemampuan Indonesia di dalam menjaga stabilitas nasional,” katanya.
Pada Sabtu ini, Kementerian Pertahanan menyerahkan 700 ransus Maung MV3, yang terdiri dari 50 unit untuk Markas Besar TNI, 400 unit untuk TNI Angkatan Darat, 100 unit untuk TNI Angkatan Laut, 100 unit untuk TNI Angkatan Udara, dan 50 unit untuk Polri.
Adapun penyerahan ransus itu dihadiri oleh Panglima TNI Jenderal TNI Agus Subiyanto, Kepala Staf TNI Angkatan Darat Jenderal TNI Maruli Simanjuntak, Kepala Staf TNI Angkatan Udara Marsekal TNI Tonny Harjono, Kepala Staf TNI Angkatan Laut Laksamana TNI Muhammad Ali, dan Kapolri Jenderal Polisi Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
Sebelum penyerahan, para pejabat itu mengecek secara langsung ratusan Maung MV3 yang telah dibariskan di Apron Lanud Husein Sastranegara. Adapun Maung yang diserahkan kepada masing-masing institusi, sesuai dengan warna khas institusi tersebut.(*)
