Jakarta, JURNAL TIPIKOR — Presiden RI Prabowo Subianto mengingatkan bahwa masa depan Indonesia cerah, khususnya di bidang ekonomi. Hal ini Prabowo sampaikan saat berbicara di Kongres Partai Demokrat, Selasa (25/2) di Jakarta.
“Yang akan nikmati adalah kalian-kalian. Saudara-saudara, yang muda-muda. Yang melihat Indonesia gelap itu siapa?” kata Prabowo.
Prabowo mengatakan masa depan Indonesia yang cerah ini diprediksi oleh Goldman Sachs, perusahaan investasi dan keuangan dunia, yang memproyeksikan
Indonesia sebagai negara dengan kekuatan ekonomi terbesar keempat di dunia pada 2050 mendatang.
“Ada suatu prediksi ekonomi dan statistik. Saudara-saudara, mereka mengatakan nomor satu akan Tiongkok menyalip Amerika. Nomor dua adalah Amerika. Nomor tiga India. Ini Goldman Sachs,” ujar Prabowo.
“indonesia nomor empat. [Tahun] 2050,” lanjutnya.
Prabowo pun mengatakan dengan demikian Indonesia akan menyalip negara-negara besar lainnya, seperti Jerman, Inggris, hingga Jepang.
“Kan keren Indonesia di atas Jerman. Di atas Jepang, di atas Inggris, di atas Prancis. Kok Indonesia gelap?” ujar Prabowo, diiringi tepuk tangan hadirin.(*)
