Selama masa jabatannya di parlemen, Farhan aktif dalam penyusunan kebijakan strategis dan legislasi yang berdampak luas bagi masyarakat.
Latar Belakang dan Karier
Lahir di Bogor pada 25 Februari 1970, Farhan tumbuh besar dan menempuh pendidikan di Bandung. Ia meraih gelar sarjana ekonomi dari Universitas Padjadjaran pada 1995 sebelum melanjutkan studi ke Harvard Business School dan MIT Sloan School of Management dalam program fellowship.
Sebelum terjun ke dunia politik, Farhan memiliki karier panjang di industri media sebagai penyiar radio, presenter televisi, serta eksekutif olahraga.
Salah satu posisi penting yang pernah diembannya adalah sebagai Direktur PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat (2009–2016). Berbekal pengalaman di bidang komunikasi, Farhan memiliki keunggulan dalam membangun hubungan yang efektif serta berinteraksi langsung dengan masyarakat.
Visi untuk Bandung
Sebagai Wali Kota Bandung, Farhan mengusung semangat Merawat Bandung, Merawat Warganya, sebuah pendekatan kepemimpinan yang menitikberatkan pada pembangunan kota yang berorientasi pada kesejahteraan masyarakat. Ia berkomitmen untuk mewujudkan Bandung yang UTAMA yakni Unggul, Terbuka, Amanah, Maju, dan Agamis.
Dengan kepemimpinan yang terbuka, inklusif, dan berbasis kolaborasi, Farhan percaya bahwa Bandung bisa terus berkembang menjadi kota yang lebih nyaman, maju, dan berdaya bagi seluruh warganya.
Kehidupan Pribadi
Farhan menikah dengan Aryatri, seorang pekerja seni (produksi film), pada September 1998. Dari pernikahannya, mereka dikaruniai dua orang putra, Muhammad Ridzky Khalid (wafat pada 2015) dan Muhammad Bisma Wibisana.
Keluarga menjadi bagian penting dalam perjalanan hidup dan karier Farhan, serta menjadi sumber inspirasi dalam setiap langkah pengabdiannya terhadap masyarakat.
