Sumedang, JURNAL TIPIKOR — Presiden RI Prabowo Subianto mengungkapkan optimisme bahwa Indonesia tengah menuju swasembada energi. Hal ini disampaikannnya saat meresmikan 37 proyek ketenagalistrikan nasional yang tersebar di 18 provinsi pada Senin (20/1) di Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Air (PLTA) Jatigede di Kabupaten Sumedang, Jawa Barat.
Prabowo menyebut peresmian 37 proyek ini kemungkinan adalah total proyek energi terbesar di dunia yang diresmikan dalam satu waktu. Dari 37 proyek itu, terdapat 26 pembangkit listrik dan 11 proyek transmisi dan gardu induk.
“Kita akan menuju swasembada energi dalam waktu yang tidak lama. Karena itu, saya ucapkan terima kasih,” ujar Prabowo saat memberikan sambutan dalam acara peresmian itu.

Prabowo menyorot bahwa Indonesia saat ini adalah satu negara di dunia yang paling maju dari segi transformasi energi menjadi energi terbarukan atau green energy. Adapun ia menyebut Indonesia memiliki Sumber Daya Alam (SDA) yang cukup besar serta kemampuan untuk melakukan transformasi energi.
“Saya kira kita sekarang ini menjadi salah satu di dunia sebagai negara yang mungkin termasuk paling maju di bidang transformasi energi menjadi energi terbarukan atau green energi yang mengurangi emisi karbon,” kata Prabowo.
“Banyak negara teriak-teriak [soal energi hijau], kita tak usah teriak-teriak tapi mewujudkan. Kita mengarahkan,” lanjutnya.

Prabowo pun optimistis Indonesia dalam lima tahun ke depan mampu untuk swasembada energi dan tidak lagi mengimpor BBM dari negara lain.
“Dalam waktu yang tidak lama kita tidak akan impor BBM lagi dari luar. Saya punya keyakinan dalam lima tahun kita tidak akan impor BBM lagi,” tandasnya.
Peresmian ini menandai langkah penting dalam upaya pemerintah memperkuat sektor energi nasional dan meningkatkan akses listrik di berbagai wilayah di Indonesia. Beberapa proyek yang diresmikan mencakup PLTA Asahan 3, PLTP Sorik Marapi, PLTA Jatigede, PLTGU Jawa 1, dan PLTS IKN.
