Tom Lembong
JURNAL TIPIKOR – Kejaksaan Agung menegaskan perkara penetapan tersangka Tom Lembong dalam kasus dugaan korupsi impor gula di Kementerian Perdagangan (Kemendag) pada 2015-2016 tak ada unsur politik melainkan terkait ketahanan pangan.
“Sama sekali ini tidak ada, tidak ada unsur-unsur politik,” kata Direktur Penuntutan pada Jaksa Agung Muda Bidang Tindak Pidana Khusus (Jampidsus) Kejagung Sutikno di Jakarta, Selasa.
Sutikno menjelaskan hal itu usai sidang putusan praperadilan yang diajukan Tom Lembong di Pengadilan Negeri (PN) Jakarta Selatan.

Dia mengatakan bahwa penanganan perkara tersebut dilakukan sejak 2023. “Proses penanganan perkara ini, bayangkan, sudah mulai sejak 2023. Mulai dari penyelidikan mengumpulkan fakta-fakta itu, berjalan sampai ke penyidikan,” katanya.
Dia menegaskan dalam penetapan tersangka ini tidak ada kepentingan politik dan sebagainya. Lantaran tujuan penegakan hukum perkara ini untuk menjaga ketahanan pangan.
“Ada program pemerintah untuk stabilitas harga ketahanan pangan termasuk gula. Kita juga menjaga kesejahteraan masyarakat terutama para petani-petani tebu,” katanya.

Dia berharap adanya penetapan tersangka ini membuat kementerian menghentikan impor ilegal demi memperbaiki tata kelola negara supaya tercapai.
“Apa itu? Salah satunya menyejahterakan rakyat melalui penegakan hukum ini, tentunya bisa akan menuju ke arah sana,” katanya.
Hakim tunggal PN Jakarta Selatan Tumpanuli Marbun menolak permohonan gugatan praperadilan Tom Lembong terkait penetapan tersangka atas kasus dugaan korupsi impor gula di Kementerian Perdagangan (Kemendag) pada 2015-2016 pada Selasa.(*)
