MAKASSAR, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Komisi III DPRD Wajo bersama Dinas PUPRP Kabupaten Wajo mendatangi Dinas Bina Marga dan Bina Konstruksi Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan pada Senin, 5 Februari 2024.
Kunjungan ini bertujuan untuk menindaklanjuti aspirasi masyarakat terkait penyelesaian Jembatan Talotenreng di Sabbangparu.
Ketua Komisi III DPRD Wajo, Taqwa Gaffar, menyampaikan kabar gembira bahwa Jembatan Talotenreng akan dirampungkan tahun ini. Hal ini tentu menjadi angin segar bagi masyarakat Wajo yang telah lama menanti penyelesaian jembatan tersebut.
“Jembatan Talotenreng sangat penting bagi masyarakat Wajo, terutama bagi mereka yang tinggal di Sabbangparu. Jembatan ini merupakan akses utama untuk menghubungkan desa-desa di wilayah tersebut,” ujar Taqwa.

Selain membahas Jembatan Talotenreng, Komisi III DPRD Wajo juga membahas anggaran infrastruktur jalan di Kabupaten Wajo. Pada tahun 2024, Wajo mendapatkan alokasi anggaran sebesar Rp 14 miliar untuk pembangunan jalan ruas Solo Peneki yang merupakan jalan kewenangan provinsi.
Komisi III DPRD Wajo juga mengusulkan 5 ruas jalan provinsi di Kabupaten Wajo untuk diusulkan ke pemerintah pusat pada program Inpres Jalan Daerah (IJD).
“Kami berharap kerjasama antara pemerintah kabupaten dan provinsi dapat terus terjalin dengan baik, demi percepatan pembangunan infrastruktur di Kabupaten Wajo,” tutur Taqwa Gaffar.
