JURNAL TIPIKOR – Terduga provokator bentrok di Kota Bitung, Marco Karundeng akhirnya ditangkap polisi. Oknum ormas Manguni itu kini kabarnya meringkuk di penjara.
Sosok Marco Karundeng sempat viral jadi sorotan warganet lantaran diduga sebagai dalang terjadinya bentrok antara kubu pendukung Palestina, dengan massa pro Israel di Kota Bitung, Sulawesi Utara pada Sabtu, 25 November 2023.
Nah kekinian, Marco Karundeng telah ditangkap dan bahkan sudah ditetapkan sebagai tersangka. Ia dibekuk di tempat persembunyiannya di wilayah Kalimantan Timur.
“Sudah (Marco Karundeng jadi tersangka),” kata Kabid Humas Polda Kaltim Kombes Yusuf Sutejo dikutip pada Minggu, 3 Desember 2023.
Baca juga Purnawirawan polisi Irjen Andi Damisnur jadi ketua TKD Paslon Prabowo -Gibran di Sulsel.
Lebih lanjut Yusuf mengatakan, penangkapan Marco Karundeng ditangani oleh tim Siber Kepolisian Daerah (Polda) Kaltim.
Diberitakan sebelumnya, nama Marco Karundeng mencuat lantaran diduga merupakan oknum ormas Adat Pasukan Manguni yang terlibat dalam bentrok di Kota Bitung.
Marco diduga menyebarkan narasi provokasi melalui media sosial Facebook.
Sasaran dia adalah wanita berhijab dan lelaki yang mengenakan peci.(*)
