Jurnaltipikor.com — Pendakwah Habib Muhammad Rizieq bin Husein Shihab, atau Habib Rizieq Shihab (HRS), akhirnya angkat bicara mengenai sikap dan arah dukungannya dalam Pemilihan Umum Presiden-Wakil Presiden di 2024. Sampai saat ini, Habib Rizieq mengaku belum menentukan pilihannya dan akan menunggu keputusan dari Ijtima Ulama yang akan digelar oleh para ulama se-Indonesia.
“Saya banyak ditanya orang, bagaimana sikap kita untuk Pilpres 2024. Saya sendiri menjawab Saya menunggu keputusan Ijtima ulama,” kata Habib Rizieq dalam akun Youtube Refly Harun, Kamis 9 November 2023.
Ijtima Ulama sendiri adalah sebuah kegiatan di mana para ulama berkumpul dalam satu forum untuk mendiskusikan, membahas dan memutuskan berbagai hal yang berkaitan dengan umat. Dalam konteks Pilpres, para ulama akan menyampaikan pendapatnya mengenai siapa sosok yang akan didukung untuk ajang pesta demokrasi lima tahunan tersebut.
Habib Rizieq mengatakan, susunan kepanitiaan sudah terbentuk untuk menggelar Ijtima Ulama. Namun, Dia mengaku belum mengetahui secara pasti kapan Ijtima Ulama itu akan dilakukan.
“Kita belum dapat kabar, Insya Allah itu akan dilakukan di Jakarta atau sekitarnya tapi yang jelas Ijtima ulama ini saya mendukung sepenuhnya,” kata Habib Rizieq.
“Karena dari Ijtima ulama satu, dua, dulu yang pernah digelar, saya tahu betul Bagaimana proses Ijtima ulama, Bagaimana pendapat para ulama dari berbagai daerah, dihargai, dihormati sehingga bisa dimusyawarahkan sampai menjadi suatu keputusan,” kata Habib Rizieq.
Menurut Habib Rizieq, untuk urusan sosial-politik, itu tak bisa diputuskan sendiri. Dia menegaskan, untuk orang muslim, anjuran untuk bermusyawarah telah diperintahkan oleh melalui Al Quran.
“Jadi keputusan yang diambil oleh musyawarah itu kelebihannya insya Allah akan jauh lebih baik daripada keputusan pribadi, karena banyak pendapat di sana kan yang yang dipertimbangkan dan nggak sampai di situ, keputusan yang diambil lewat musyawarah itu akan menjadi tanggung jawab bersama. Jadi kalaupun ke depan ada kesalahan atau kekurangan enggak main tunjuk,” ujarnya

Pada Pemilu-pemilu sebelumnya, Ulama juga turut aktif menyuarakan dukungannya untuk sosok Capres-Cawapres. Dalam dua kali Pilpres, sosok yang didukung oleh Ijtima Ulama, adalah sosok Prabowo Subianto yang dulu bersaing merebutkan kursi RI 1 dengan Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
