ICW : Bantahan Ketua KPK atas Isu Pemerasan, Moga Polda Metro Jaya Tidak Terbuai
Jakarta, Jurnaltipikor.com I Isu Pemerasan yang dilakukan oleh oknum Pimpinan Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) terhadap tersangka Kasus Korupsi di Kementerian Pertanian (Kementan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo terus menuai pro dan kontra.
Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW) meminta Polda Metro Jaya tak terbuai bantahan Ketua Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) Firli Bahuri. Dugaan pemerasan pimpinan KPK dalam kasus rasuah di Kementerian Pertanian (Kementan) mesti diusut tuntas.
“Bentuk pembelaan sebagaimana yang disampaikan Firli kemarin sebaiknya tidak langsung diyakini oleh Polda Metro Jaya sebagai suatu kebenaran,” kata peneliti ICW Kurnia Ramadhana melalui keterangan tertulis, Jumat, 6 Oktober 2023.

Polda Metro Jaya diharapkan terus mengumpulkan bukti dan memeriksa saksi terkait dugaan pemerasan. Malah, lebih baik jika pimpinan KPK diperiksa.
“ICW mendorong agar kepolisian tidak ragu untuk melanjutkan proses penyelidikan, bahkan memanggil terlapor untuk kemudian dimintai keterangannya,” ucap Kurnia.
Penetapan tersangka dalam kasus pemerasan dinantikan. Apalagi, jika Polda Metro Jaya telah memeiliki bukti kuat.
“Jika ditemukan bukti permulaan yang cukup, kepolisian harus segera menaikkan status penanganan perkaranya ke Penyidikan dan menetapkan Pimpinan KPK yang dimaksud sebagai tersangka,” tegas Kurnia.

Firli Bahuri membantah kabar dugaan pemerasan dalam penanganan dugaan rasuah di Kementerian Pertanian (Kementan). Menurut dia, hal itu tak benar.
“Tentu saya ingin katakan bahwa apa yang menjadi isu sekarang tentu kita juga harus pahami namun demikian kita juga menyampaikan bahwa hal tersebut tidak benar dan tidak pernah dilakukan oleh pimpinan KPK,” kata Firli di Gedung Merah Putih KPK, Jakarta Selatan, Kamis, 5 Oktober 2023.
