Jakarta, Jurnaltipikor.com l PENGAMAT ekonomi digital Ignatius Untung tidak setuju jika pemerintah mencabut izin platform media sosial asal Tiongkok, TikTok, jika masih nekat melakukan kegiatan jual beli di TikTok Shop.
Menurutnya, platform tersebut tidak berkompetisi dengan pelaku usaha mikro, kecil dan menengah (UMKM) secara langsung.
“Aneh jika pemerintah membatasi TikTok Shop. Dia kan enggak berkompetisi dengan UMKM,” ujarnya saat dihubungi Media Indonesia, Selasa (26/9).
Menurut Ketua Umum Asosiasi E-commerce Indonesia (IdEA) itu, TikTok Shop tidak akan menjadi besar usahanya tanpa kehadiran UMKM lokal. Ia mengeklaim keberadaan fitur social commerce itu justru dapat meningkatkan omzet pelaku usaha kecil di Tanah Air.
“TikTok Shop enggak bisa besar tanpa ada UMKM. Jadi enggak mungkin mereka melakukan sesuatu yang merugikan UMKM,” kata Ignatius.

Ia berpandangan selama ini pelaku UMKM yang berada di pasar tradisional belum bisa cepat beradaptasi dengan perubahan teknologi, sehingga dianggap kalah bersaing dengan mereka yang sudah memanfaatkan fitur social commerce terkini.
“Saya juga melihat kewajiban untuk mengedukasi para UMKM memanfaatkan digitalisasi masih kurang. Ini yang perlu diperhatikan,” tegasnya.
Ignatius meminta pemerintah untuk melakukan uji publik terkait revisi Peraturan Menteri Perdagangan (Permendag) Nomor 50 Tahun 2020 tentang Ketentuan Perizinan Usaha, Periklanan, Pembinaan, dan Pengawasan Pelaku Usaha dalam Perdagangan Melalui Sistem Elektronik. Hal ini untuk mengetahui dampak untung rugi ke pelaku usaha.

Para pelaku UMKM yang tergabung di TikTok Shop diyakini akan merugi besar jika pemerintah melarang platform media sosial melakukan transaski berjualan.
“Harus ada studinya untuk mengetahui dampaknya seperti apa dari revisi aturan itu. Yang hari ini punya bisnis di TikTok Shop akan terdampak setelah keputusan baru itu keluar,” kata Ignatius.
“Saya juga mempertanyakan apakah ketika mengambil keputusan revisi Permendag No.50/2020, ada hitungan dari pemerintah mengenai dampak positif yang dihasilkan melebihi dampak negatifnya,” pungkasnya
