Kapolres Belu Pimpin Upacara Gabungan dan Deklarasi Pencegahan Karhutla
Belu, JURNALTIPIKOR.COM | Dalam rangka mencegah dan menanggulangi kebakaran hutan dan lahan (karhutla), Kepolisian Resor Belu dan jajarannya didukung instansi terkait serta mitra kamtibmas lainnya, selama dua pekan kedepan menyelenggarakan operasi “Bina Karuna Turangga 2023” yang dimulai tanggal 28 agustus sampai dengan 10 september 2023.
Guna memantapkan komitmen dalam upaya pencegahan dan penanggulangan kebakaran hutan dan lahan (Karhutla), Kepolisian Resor Belu menggelar upacara gabungan dengan sejumlah stakeholder yang ada di kabupaten Belu, Selasa (5/9/2023).
Upacara yang dilaksanakan di Lapangan Apel SMK Katolik St. Yosep Nenuk, dipimpin langsung Kapolres Belu, AKBP Richo Nataldo Devallas Simanjuntak, S.I.K yang dihadiri Kepala Sekolah beserta guru SMK Katolik St. Yosep Nenuk, Kasat Intelkam Polres Belu, Kepala Badan penanggulangan Bencana Daerah Kabupaten Belu dan Kepala Unit Siaga SAR Atambua.

Hadir juga upacara gabungan pagi tadi pukul 07.00 wita, Kepala Bidang Pemadam Kebakaran Kabupaten Belu, Penjabat Kepala Desa Naekasa,kecamatan Tasifeto Barat, Tokoh masyarakat dan Tokoh Adat Desa Naekasa, personel Ops Bina Karuna Polres Belu serta seluruh pelajar SMK Katolik St. Yosep Nenuk.
Dalam amanatnya, Kapolres Belu mengatakan, upacara merupakan salah satu media untuk membina kepribadian dan karakter sebagai warga negara yang baik sesuai dengan ideologi bangsa Indonesia yaitu Pancasila dan Konstitusi Indonesia yakni UUD 1945.
“Selain itu upacara juga merupakan media untuk menghormati para pejuang dan pahlawan bangsa Indonesia yang telah gugur demi memperjuangkan dan mempertahankan kemerdekaan negara kesatuan RI yang kita cintai”lanjut Kapolres Belu

Masih dalam amanatnya, Kapolres Belu mengajak seluruh peserta upacara agar senantiasa mengamalkan pancasila sebagai dasar negara.
“Salah satu sikap dan perbuatan yang menjadi bukti bahwa kita merupakan generasi penerus yang mencintai tanah air Indonesia adalah dengan mengamalkan pancasila sebagai dasar negara. Dengan menjadi pribadi dan generasi penerus yang cinta tanah air, maka saat ini kita sedang turut serta sekaligus berpartisipasi dalam mewujudkan persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa”ujar Kapolres Belu.
Menurutnya, beberapa sikap cinta tanah air yang perlu kita terapkan antara lain bersemangat dalam mempelajari sejarah perjuangan para Pahlawan, semangat dalam mengikuti upacara bendera pada hari senin maupun hari-hari besar nasional serta menggunakan bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar.

“Berikutnya ketertiban dan ketenteraman di lingkungan sekitar, belajar dengan sungguh-sungguh untuk mengharumkan nama bangsa dan negara serta mengapresiasi karya anak bangsa dengan berbelanja produk-produk dalam negeri”pungkas Kapolres Belu.
Diakhir amanatnya, Kapolres Belu mengajak seluruh pihak untuk bekerja sama dengan kepolisian dalam mencegah dan menanggulangi kebakaran hutan dan lahan.
Menurutnya, sinergisitas oleh seluruh elemen dinilai sangat penting dikarenakan wilayah kabupaten Belu kerap terjadi kasus pembakaran hutan baik sengaja maupun tidak disengaja yang tentunya dapat menimbulkan sejumlah efek negatif baik dari segi kesehatan maupun keselamatan orang banyak.
“Saat ini Polri melaksanakan operasi Bina Karuna dalam rangka mencegah terjadinya kebakaran hutan dan lahan. Dan seperti yang kita ketahui bersama di wilayah kita masih terjadi kasus pembakaran hutan dan terkadang salah satu penyebabnya adalah ketika warga ingin membuka lahan baru dengan cara dibakar kemudian api tidak diawasi sehingga menyebabkan kebakaran”ungkap Kapolres Belu.

“Oleh karenanya fenomena ini harus menjadi perhatian kita bersama, baik sebagai anak sekolah, pemerintah, swasta maupun masyarakat dimana sinergitas kita harus lebih dioptimalkan dalam segala upaya pencegahan dan penanggulangan setiap potensi Karhutla agar wilayah kabupaten Belu dapat bebas dari kebakaran hutan dan lahan”pungkas Kapolres Belu.
Usai Upacara gabungan, kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan Deklarasi Tolak Karhutla di wilayah Kabupaten Belu yang diikuti oleh Kapolres Belu beserta seluruh peserta Upacara gabungan.
