Bandung, JurnalTipikor.com | Persoalan darurat sampah masih menjadi PR besar yang tengah dijalani Kota Bandung. Pasalnya sampai saat ini TPA Sarimukti masih belum bisa digunakan.
Plh Wali Kota Bandung, Ema Sumarna menyebutkan, saat ini di Kota Bandung sudah lebih dari 10.000 ton sampah yang belum bisa terangkut.
“Kemarin kita sudah mencoba ingin memanfaatkan lahan milik Pussenkav untuk TPA darurat. Tapi ternyata tidak bisa karena lahannya sudah lebih awal difungsikan untuk lapangan tembak,” ungkap Ema, Rabu 30 Agustus 2023 di Pendopo Kota Bandung.
Padahal, dari 135 TPS di Kota Bandung, seluruhnya sudah mengalami overload. Bahkan, saat ini sudah ada tindakan dari masyarakat untuk menumpukkan sampah di jalan-jalan.

Ema juga telah menugaskan beberapa kepala organisasi perangkat daerah (OPD) untuk menyebar, melihat perkembangan dari kasus penumpukan sampah di Kota Bandung.
“Hari ini ahamdulillah, kami tadi berkomunikasi dengan Kasdam III/Siliwangi, Brigjen Agus Saepul bahwa di Pasir Impun ada lokasi yang mudah-mudahan bisa dimanfaatkan,” ujarnya.
Ia menambahkan, sambil pihaknya terus melakukan tindakan konvensional pada lahan aset Pemkot di Tegalega. Sejak kemarin, Pemkot Bandung telah menggali lubang-lubang untuk mengubur sampah organik sebagai bagian dari komposting di sana.
“Kalau anorganik tidak boleh. Kita sudah mengirimkan 3 ekskavator ke sana. Kita juga terus bekerja keras menangani darurat sampah,” lanjutnya.

Ema mengatakan, kondisi TPA Sarimukti saat ini masih terdapat sedikit titik api dan asap. Jika sesuai dengan target, maksimal penanganan kebakaran ini tersisa dua hari lagi. Ia berharap Jumat pekan ini seluruh sampah di Kota Bandung sudah bisa kembali diangkut ke TPA Sarimukti.
“Kita doakan semoga para petugas baik dari seluruh wilayah yang menangani kebakaran ini betul-betul dimudahkan oleh Allah, sehingga permasalahan ini bisa cepat teratasi. Legok Nangka katanya baru bisa digunakan tahun 2025. Tidak mungkin selama dua tahun ini kita semua menunggu tanpa melakukan langkah-langkah,” imbuhnya.
