Bandung, JURNAL TIPIKOR–Setelah 17 tahun menanti, Kamis 6 Juli 2023 menjadi momen yang paling berharga untuk Luceria Sitorus. Akhirnya ia bersama 757 guru lainnya dilantik sebagai tenaga PPPK di Balai Kota Bandung.
Sudah 17 tahun saya mengajar sebagai guru IPA. Awalnya di SMP Nasional Jalan Sadang Serang. Sekarang penempatan di SMPN 14 Bandung,” ujar Luceria seusai mengambil sumpah dalam pelantikannya.
Ia berharap, setelah resmi menjadi guru ASN, semangat dan kompetensinya semakin lebih meningkat.
“Semoga dengan menjadi guru ASN, kualitas mengajar kami semakin meningkat dan lebih baik ke depannya,” harapnya.

Pengambilan sumpah jabatan yang berjalan mulai dari pukul 08.15 WIB berlangsung khidmat. Plh Wali Kota Bandung, Ema Sumarna turut hadir untuk melantik langsung 758 tenaga guru P3K tahun 2022.
“Hari ini kita menerima keluarga baru di dunia pendidikan. Mengabdi di dunia pendidikan. Semoga bisa meningkatkan kualitas pembangunan dan pendidikan di Kota Bandung,” ungkap Ema.
Menurutnya, jumlah tenaga pendidik Kota Bandung selalu berada dalam posisi tidak ideal. Padahal guru merupakan salah satu sumber daya aparatur yang sangat strategis untuk merealisasikan peningkatan sumber daya manusia.
“Kita memiliki 8.000 tenaga guru SD-SMP di Kota Bandung. Dari sebanyak itu kita masih kekurangan 1.688 tenaga guru. Kalau kita tidak secepatnya melantik bisa mengganggu layanan pendidikan di kota Bandung,” akunya.

Ia pun berpesan kepada para guru yang telah dilantik untuk kreatif dalam berstrategi.
“Jangan sekadar “business as usual”, tapi perlu disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan anak didik di masa kini. Sebab perubahan adalah sebuah keniscayaan,” kata Ema.
Menurut Ema, anak-anak sekarang familiar dengan gawai dan dinamika teknologi. Pada hakikatnya lebih menguntungkan.
“Tapi di satu sisi jika tenaga pengajarnya tidak beradaptasi dengan hal itu, malah akan tertinggal dan tidak relevan dengan kebutuhan siswa,” ucapnya.
Ia menambahkan, para guru harus bekerja sama untuk membangun siswa yang unggul tak hanya dari IQ, tapi juga EQ dan SQ-nya .
“Sekitar 80 persen anak didik baiknya unggul juga dari segi SQ-nya, sehingga memiliki perilaku yang unggul dan keseimbangan antara lahir dan batinnya,” imbuhnya.

Sementara itu, Kepala BKPSDM Kota Bandung, Adi Junjunan Mustafa mengatakan, pengangkatan P3K guru formasi tahun 2022 di lingkungan Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Bandung saat ini merupakan guru SD dan SMP.
“Peserta acara hari ini sebanyak 758 orang. Keseluruhan telah memperoleh nomer induk PPPK dari kantor regional III. Terdiri dari 233 orang guru SD dan 525 orang guru SMP,” jelas Adi. (din)**
