Menurutnya, Ceramah dan statmen tersebut membuat kontoversial di berbagai kalangan masyarakat , Kang Iyus mengatakan sebagai Pimpinan pesantren seharusnya menjadi Uswatun hasanah panutan teladan yang baik bagi umatnya dan masyarakat umumnya, ungkapnya
CORONG JABAR menyatakan sikap Untuk menjaga kerukunan umat dan menjaga kodisifitas masyarakat jawa barat berharap pihak pemerintah dan MUI harus segera mengambil sikap dan langkah-langkah tegas terhadap pimpinan Aljytun agar semua ceramahnya dan pernyataannya tidak menjadi sumber keresahaan dan menjadi masalah bagi masyarakat jawa barat khususnya, karena Ini sangat rentan sekali apalagi suasana politik mulai memanas, jangan sampai permasalahan ini di jadikan alat politik bagi kelompok-kelompok yang menginginkan Negera ini chaos, Tegasnya
