Selasa (30/05/2023).
Diawal pembuka kegiatan Kapolda Lampung menyampaikan ucapan terimakasih kepada insan pers.
“Saya selaku pimpinan Polda Lampung mengucapkan terimakasih dan penghargaan yang setinggi-tingginya kepada para wartawan media cetak, media elektronik dan media online yang dengan setia dan penuh rasa tanggung jawab selalu memberitakan setiap kejadian gangguan kamtibmas sekecil apapun untuk dapat menjadi konsumsi publik, khususnya bagi masyarakat yang berdomisili di Provinsi Lampung, dengan begitu seluruh lapisan masyarakat dapat mengikuti dengan cepat apa yang terjadi dan upaya apa yang dilakukan jajaran Polda Lampung” Ungkapnya.
Kapolda Lampung melanjutkan Operasi Sikat Krakatau 2023, jajaran Polda Lampung berhasil menangkap 307 pelaku kejahatan dari 334 laporan dari kasus pencurian pemberatan (Curat), pencurian kekerasan (Curas), dan pencurian kendaraan bermotor (Curanmor).

Kapolda Lampung, Irjen Helmy Santika mengatakan, Operasi Sikat Krakatau 2023 dilaksanakan selama 14 hari mulai 15-29 Mei 2023, sebagai bentuk keseriusan Polda Lampung untuk menekan angka kriminalitas, dalam mewujudkan Lampung yang aman.
“Ini bentuk keseriusan dan kami tidak akan berhenti, kami tidak akan kendor mengungkap peristiwa yang belum terungkap, termasuk tersangka lain yang belum tertangkap,” kata Irjen Helmy Santika.
Dari hasil penangkapan tersebut, diamankan sejumlah barang bukti diantaranya berupa uang tunai Rp. 10.810.835 (Sepuluh Juta Delapan Ratus Sepuluh Ribu Delapan Ratus Tiga Puluh Lima Rupiah), 6 unit mobil, 80 unit sepeda motor, 36 pucuk senjata api, 18 butir amunisi peluru, dan 17 senjata tajam.
“Dalam pelaksanaannya, kami menetapkan target dan non target operasi, untuk target operasi ada 60 tersangka dan non target 247 tersangka,” ujar Helmy Santika.

Berdasarkan kejahatannya rinciannya ada Curat ada 163 laporan polisi dengan 178 tersangka, Curas ada 56 laporan dengan 39 tersangka, dan Curanmor ada 29 laporan dengan 28 tersangka.
Sementara tersangka lainnya, ada kasus kepemilikan senjata api ada sembilan laporan dengan tiga tersangka, lalu ada kepemilikan senjata tajam ada dua laporan dengan tiga tersangka.
Pada kesempatan tersebut Kapolda Lampung juga menyerahkan barang bukti sepeda motor yang telah didapatkan dari hasil pengungkapan kasus kejahatan kepada para korban (JT/RG)
