Metro, JURNAL TIPIKOR– Jalan Trunojoyo merupakan jalan lingkungan alternatif yang melintasi pemukiman masyarakat dengan panjang sekitar 450 meter akses dari arah kelurahan mulyojati menuju kawasan Gajahmada.
Kondisi jalan tersebut penuh lubang, menurut keterangan dari masyarakat warga setempat, sudah 15 tahun tidak tersentuh pembangunan meskipun berulangkali telah di usulkan oleh warga untuk perbaikan seakan akan tidak ada rasa kepedulian kepada akses masyarakat setempat.
Pada hari Minggu (28/5/2023), atas inisiatif warga setempat di Motori oleh nur Rohman (ketua RT 37/13) mengadakan gotong royong untuk menimbun lubang lubang yang ada di jalan tersebut.

Padahal terangnya jalan tersebut sudah puluhan kali diajukan perbaikan jalan tersebut dalam hal perbaikan di musyawarah rencana pembangunan (musrembang) tapi hal itu hanya ibarat angin lalu saja, seakan akan hanya di tampung saja tanpa ada realisasinya, bahkan pihak Pemkot metro pun belum menunjukan rasa keberpihakan/melakukan peninjauan terhadap kerusakan jalan tersebut.
Berangkat dari itu warga jalan Trunojoyo berinisiatif dan didukung oleh sumbangan swadaya masyarakat serta sebanyak 2 dumtruk bahu membahu melaksanakan gotong royong tersebut.
Harapan besar warga jalan Trunojoyo, hal yang dilakukan ini bisa memancing Pemkot kota metro untuk segera memperbaiki akses jalan tersebut mengingat begitu penting nya akses jalan tersebut
